The Mission

At the hotel, we looked over the building blueprints to plan how we would get the T.S.I. chip. After we had planned everything and gone over it we waited, preparing for the mission that would take place once it got dark. When it was dark we signed out of the hotel and left. We took a taxi and were dropped off a block away from the building. We crept through the shadows and hid in the bushes.

One of the many problems we came to while planning was how we would get over the 10 ft. electric fence. In the end, our plan was to find the tallest tree closest to the wall and climb it. We would then use my rope contraction to swing over the fence without anyone noticing us. Luckily we did find a very tall tree. We silently climbed the tree. We were hidden from view in the many branches of the tree. I spied two guards guarding the front door and two more guarding the back door. I reached for my rope contraction and pulled it out but Nathan stopped me. He grabbed one of his guns attached a silencer and shot down four laser beams. "Don't forget to destroy all cameras and lasers we need to be extra careful here." He whispered in my ear. I nodded, aimed my rope contraction and pressed a button. It latched onto the roof with a small clink but the guards didn't notice.

I was the first to swing over. I hit the wall feet first right by an open window. It would have been easier to just go right through the window but as Nathan had said we need to be extra careful. I couldn't risk being seen on camera or setting off an alarm. I peeked into the room and shot down two cameras and three lasers. I entered the room through the window and looked around me. It was dark but I could tell it was pretty much empty except for a table and lamp in the far corner covered in cobwebs and dust. I swung the rope back to Nathan and he swung over landing silently in the room. He looked around then walked over to the door putting his ear to it. He motioned me to be quiet and of course, I did. After a minute he walked over to the window and motioned me to him.

"There is a man right outside the door so we can't go that way." He said. "Ok, we can climb up to the roof and there should be a way to get into the building that way," I said as if it was so obvious.

Nathan smiled and nodded. I climbed out of the window. The rope was still attached to the roof so I climbed up with Nathan right behind me. On the roof was a helicopter. It looked brand new. I loved flying helicopters. One of the requirements of being a spy was knowing how to fly a helicopter or plane. Nathan and I chose a helicopter. Anyway, I checked to make sure it could be used for a quick escape. Everything was in order. I turned and nodded at Nathan. He nodded back.

"I will enter through the back door to the security room and turn off all the security in the building. Then I will meet you in the secret room. Wait for the signal before doing anything." Nathan instructed. "Got it." I nodded.
