"Now I would like to tell you of my genius plan," he said. He told me about his plan to use me to find the location of the agency. I would have to tell my parents and then he would attack the agency and he would take over.

"Um, it all sounded good except that I don't think I'm going to tell my parents just to make you happy," I said weakly

He signaled to one of the men and he brought a necklace. I gasped. It was the necklace I always wanted.

"You're not going to try to bribe me right because then you're much more stupid then I thought," I said.

He scowled. "This necklace has a built-in bomb and tracker. So I will be able to track you down and if you don't cooperate, I can blow you and everyone around you to pieces. For now, we'll have to wait until your rescue team." He put the necklace on me.

Fortunately, Nathan and the rescue team were right outside getting ready to come in. A few minutes after Doctor E. said that and left. I heard a "boom" and soon Nathan appeared in the doorway. He looked sad. My leg looked pretty bad and I looked weak and I was crying. He came over and untied me.

"Maggie, are you ok?" he asked me. I shook my head.

Nathan took me into his arms and carried me out of the building. We took me to the plane. Nathan laid me down on a chair. He sat down and rested my head on his lap. He gave me some medicine to try to ease the pain. We took off and I fell fast asleep.

When we arrived at the agency Nathan carried me to the infirmary. There the nurse, Anna, examined me. Nathan stayed by my side holding my hand. Soon after I got in the infirmary I heard big, fast footsteps. I guessed it was Ed. He barged in and stared at me. Nathan and Ed stepped out of the room. When they came back in Anna told them that they had infected my wound but that with the right care it would heal fine. She also said I would have to take a break from being a spy for up to a month. Then I fell asleep.

Later when I woke up and I found myself in Nathan's car on the way home. On the way, Nathan told me the cover story. I had been on a gymnastic trip when I had gone to a store and a criminal shot me. It didn't seem very believable to me but I knew my parents would totally believe it. For the rest of the ride, I thought of my evil mission that Doctor E. had given me.
