I removed my tranquilizer from my belt and leaned over the side of the roof. I shot the two guards that were guarding the back door. Nathan used my rope contraction to lower himself over the side. He waved at me before going in and I waved back. I walked into the middle of the roof and sat down. I waited there and thought about where my parents thought I was. My cover story had been that my gymnastics team went on a trip and crashed or that as I had been walking home a criminal had shot me. Not very nice things to think about. I also thought about all the things that could go wrong in a mission.
After a few minutes, I heard Nathan's voice in my ear. "We are now invisible. The secret room is room 1001. Beat you there." He said. "On my way," I said into my mic.
I walked over to the door and opened the lock with my multi-tool. I opened the door to see a metal elevator door with a number pad and a keyhole. I knew there was no way I was going to get in this way.
"Roof entrance blocked with number code and key. What do I do?" I asked Nathan through my mic. "Get in through a window. Be very alert." He answered. "Ok." I sighed.
I grabbed my rope contraption and walked to the opposite side of the roof. I attached the rope contraction to a pipe, secured it and jumped off the roof. I had the rope attached to my waist and I pulled my self up to a window that I thought was on the 4th floor. I opened the window and slipped inside. I shook my rope so it would disconnect from the pipe. It did and I attached the rope contraction to my belt. The room was dark, dusty, and empty. I walked over to the door and pressed my ear up against it. I heard someone right in front of the door. I didn't really want to blow my cover yet so I walked over to the side of the room and shut the window making a loud "boom". I had just slipped behind the door when it opened.
