We began to clean up the mess that had been made. Doctor E.'s men were taken to our jail. And whatever had been wrecked outside was trying to be fixed. Ed, Nathan and I went back to Ed's office. We decided it would be better if my family and I went home. Ed told Nathan to accompany us. I found the girls in the training room and Nathan got my parents. Marie and Luciana didn't want to leave and I promised them I would bring them back. Nathan got a speech from my parents about taking care of me by not letting me go on dangerous missions. Then we found the car and started the thirty-minute drive home. My parents were arguing about me being a spy. It was very annoying. We didn't notice it at first but there was a helicopter silently following us."Just shoot the wheels," ordered Doctor E.
He knew that Nathan and I would jump out with the girls, so he aimed to get my parents. Doctor E. was happy. His plan was going perfectly. He had purposely made it so they would lose and the agency wouldn't feel threatened anymore. He would capture my parents and use them to take over the agency. He couldn't wait to be able to walk down the agency's halls with rooms full of worthless spies.
As the helicopter got closer, my Mom pointed it out. We looked out the windows. Oh, no. I could tell it was Doctor E. he had tried to paint over his helicopter to try to make it look like ours but it didn't work. I looked up again to see the tip of a gun aimed at us.
"Everybody get out!" I yelled, grabbing Luciana beside me.
Nathan did the same with Marie. We opened our doors and jumped out. Luckily we were surrounded by tall grass. I noticed my parents hadn't jumped out. I had to get to them before it was too late. The bad thing was that it was too late. My parents stopped and the guy in the helicopter shot the wheels. My parents got out and two men jumped down from the helicopter and grabbed my parents. Marie and Luciana wanted to yell, but we covered their mouths. We stayed in the long grass waiting for the helicopter to go away. It circled around a few times but then it flew away. After it was only a speck in the distance, we stood up and started walking back to the agency.
"Is he going to kill Mama and Papa?" asked Luciana.
"No, sweetheart. You see its like fishing. If you want to catch a fish you need a lure, get it?" I explained.
"So he is fishing for the agency and Mama and Papa are the lures? She looked up at me and I nodded. She seemed to go over it to see if it actually made sense.
We started walking back towards the agency. When we arrived at the agency, we went straight to Ed's office.
"They're kidnapped, aren't they?" he said to confirm what he already knew.
Nathan and I nodded.
"Yeah, I thought so. We saw a helicopter." He took a long pause and then continued. "Okay. Nathan, go see what you can do around here. Maggie, take the girls to the training room and watch over the kids while I try to figure this all out. Meanwhile, we'll try to get that necklace off."
"One question," I said. " Am I supposed to take the girls to the training room and watch over the kids or stay here so you can try to get the necklace off?"
Ed pondered this realizing what he had said. "Take the girls to the training room then come back so we can get that necklace off."
Nathan walked down the hall and I went the opposite way. I took the girls to the training room and left them there. Then I began to walk back to Ed's office. I really hoped they would be able to get the necklace off without blowing up anyone.
It took a few tries but eventually, they managed to get it off and took it to the laboratory to get the tracker and bomb out. I was so relieved to be rid of the bomb. It's not very fun carrying a bomb around my neck. Then we got a car and drove home.
