"I called your mother"
the color drained from his face as I held him in my arms.
"you... you wHAT?!"
"I called your mom, Liam-"
"why! why would you do that!"
as I see the fear in his eyes show, evident as day, I'm starting to regret my action but I stay strong.
he needs this.
"You need your mother, Liam-"
he thrashes and whimpers, and does what I thought he was becoming too strong to do.
he has an anxiety attack
tears stream down his cheeks causing me such pain to watch.
"Liam, this will be good, this will be time to recover from everything that's happened, you need recovery, you need to breath"
"Breath?! How can I breath if everything I'v ever loved is trying to suffocate me!"
he opens the car door and steps out, leaning his back on the windshield. I get up myself and go outside with him.
I hover over him, my left arm sits beside him on the windshield like a guard and use my other hand to hold his.
"Liam... you're ganna be ok, I will make sure you are ok. I'm sorry for brining a part of your childhood back to you that I know you didn't ever wanna revisit and I should have thought this through more, but if anything happens to you.. it will have to pass me first"
his sniffles start to calm and his averted eyes look back at me.
"I promise"
"what if it's something you can't fight off?" he asks, scared.
"I'd die for you then"
I hold him to me, knowing I have never before meant words so true.
I'd die for him.

so... I reread this whole book and... I feel like it was rushed ? does it feel rushed ? as i'm writing it I feel like it's a good pace but I need your lovely input on that.
