Streak crouched at the final rooftop. "Okay, we're here. Will you finally tell us how you know Deku is here?" He chuckled to Sprout. She looked at him, her red eyes wide and excited. "Well, me and Yang were out patrolling since it was our job this morning, right? We were wandering by here, and the hand guy walked out of that supposedly abandoned building. He didn't have those weird hands on him, he was actually wearing a black hoodie, but I could clearly recognize his eyes and his hair, along with his creepy vampire skin." The little girl explained cheerfully. Streak glanced at Yang, who nodded in confirmation. "Hm...alright then. Well, little lady. Go do what you do best, drive people crazy and be a strangely good actor." He teased, slipping her costume off and ruffling her blonde hair. The little girl snickered, stepping out of the disguise.
She was wearing overalls and a pink shirt beneath. Yin scooped her up and leaped down, landing neatly on the ground beside the abandoned building. He whispered something to her, probably a good luck, and ran back over, taking Yang's outstretched hand and being pulled back up with the others. They all watched as Sprout knocked on the door, forming fake tears and trembling slightly. The door opened and a purple mist man they knew as Kurogiri opened the door, squatting down. "Hm? What's wrong little one?" He murmured in a concerned, deep, silky voice. Sprout sniffled, tears running down her freckled cheeks. "D-Daddy hit my Mommy. She told me to r-run." She broke down, 'sobbing'. Kurogiri's yellow eyes softened and he rested his misty hand on her head. "Well, how about you take me to your home, hm?" He said gently, menace coating his voice.
She nodded shakingly, and as they began to make their way down the road, she winked up at them. The signal. As the girl and the villain rounded the corner, they each leaped down, disappearing into the shadows. Slowly, Streak shifted over to the door, the others following close behind. He nodded at Yang, who just blinked in response. Using his quirk, he snapped the doorknob clean off, sending it flying into his hands. Suddenly, there was a loud clank from the street. Their heads whipped around, ready for a fight. Streak let out a relieved sigh as he realized it was only Sprout. "Where's that misty bastard?" He whispered, glancing around cautiously. She giggled, mischief in her girly voice. "I made a trashcan lid big and smacked him over the head. He'll still be out by the time we're gone." Streak laughed, ruffling her blonde locks. "Great job, kid. Now," He looked at the others.
"As I said before, keep them distracted. I've heard the league has recruited a few more members, so expect the unexpected." Winking, he stepped back and let Yang lead the way. As they burst in, he heard shouting and sounds of fighting. Waiting a few more moments, he slipped inside, staying low and close to the wall. There was a small bar at the front, where Yang had just thrown a man with a black and white split suit into the alcohol filled shelves, glass shattering over the floor and counter. At the other side of the room, Sprout was having a knife fight with another blonde girl in a school uniform, both reminding him a lot of the other, making him chuckle. He gasped as, out of nowhere, a scaly green man leaped out in front of him, holding a huge sword that looked like it was made of blades. 'One of the new recruits!' His hair was spiky, a purple tinted pink. "You're not going anywhere, leader of Downfall!"
He shouted, running towards him. Streak rushed to the side, slipping away by using his quirk. Anger and anxiety tore through his mind. 'If I use too much of my energy I won't have enough left to get Deku!' He thought, narrowing his eyes as the villain slashed at him again. He used his dagger, running at him with as much speed as he could without running out, sinking it deep into his side. The reptile man let out a cry of pain, falling backward. Taking this chance, Streak turned and fled, slipping through the battling villains. His eyes searched the place before landing on a staircase in the very back, almost hidden by the couch. Quickly, he raced over, making his way down the steps. Eagerness burst inside his heart at the thought of seeing Deku again, though he was slightly scared at what he would find. He hoped desperately that the boy wasn't dead. Gripping the door handle, he opened it, peeking inside.
He clicked on the lights in the dark room, and as the shadows disappeared, he spotted a form curled up on a bed in the corner, his green locks dirty and unkempt. He walked toward him. "Deku?" He smiled, pressing his hand to his shoulder. Instantly, Deku whipped around, grabbing his arm and gripping it tightly, squeezing. His eyes were wide and a large, eery grin was spread along his freckled cheeks. His pupils glowed as he rose from his bed, tilting his head to the side, grinding his teeth together. "Streak? Is that you?" He hummed, reaching a hand out and putting it on his chin. Streak frowned. "Deku, are you okay? What did they do to you, you aren't acting normal." He murmured, scanning him for injuries, though he only found a couple bruises and scrapes. The boy let out a uncharacteristically high giggle.
"Where is your blood?" Deku questioned, saying the word casually. Streak blinked. "Uh- what?" He shook his head firmly to himself. "There's no time. We need to go. Something's wrong with you and besides that the League will burst in any minute if the others haven't-" As he turned and began to pull the orb from his pocket, he was suddenly knocked to the ground with a grunt. "Deku? What are you doing?" He growled. As he looked up at Deku, his pupils dilated in surprise. Deku stared down at him, the grin widening into a smirk as he held up his hand, gripping a sharp metal object. A knife. "Here, I'll get the blood for you, Streak!"
