Deku sat in his room, leaning against the wall. He stared at the ceiling, a brooding look on his face.
You look really stupid right now, you know.
"Shut up..." He grumbled aloud, growling as he heard laughter. Suddenly, a thought struck him.
Y'know, I think you need a name.
A pause.
...what and why?
Well, I can't just keep calling you 'weird creepy voice that possesses me part time' . And I think it's polite.
Pff, 'polite'. But, I guess you're right. Any suggestions?
Uh...no. Oh! Maybe I should ask the others?
Mhm, sure, they totally won't think we are crazy asking what you should name the voice in your head. They already think we are because of that stunt we pulled last month. (yes it has been a month since the last chapter's occurrences)
You mean the stunt you pulled? Ugh, anyway, I have a plan.
Slipping out of the bed, he cracked open the door. Sniffing, he caught the delicious scent of cooked salmon.
Mmm! Yin must be cooking again! Ah, his meals are always the best.
Can't argue there, the man knows how to handle food.
Humming, now in a semi happy mood, Deku strided out of his room. Sprout was sitting on the couch, playing on her iPad they had stolen from a little boy on the street yesterday. Deku could hear Crimson working on something in his room. Streak was running on the treadmill in the living room. He glanced over with a grin, waving at Deku. His feet were a blur and a neon green streak flew from his feet as he ran. "Have you beaten your top yet?" Deku hummed as he sat down at the dining room table, opening one of the journals that were stacked one on top of the other in the corner and waiting to take more notes on Streak.
He had made a little profile for all the members of Downfall in one journal or another, and he was thrilled that they didn't stare at him weird like kids at school, heck, even his mom, did. "Yeah! 1,243 MPH baby!" Streak yelled, his bright green eyes practically glowing with pride. "Wow! That's way over what you had before!" Deku chirped, quickly scribbling down the new best and closing the book. Yang sat across the table from him, reading a paper intently. "Whats that?" Deku asked curiously, trying to peek over the top of it. Yang huffed, scooting the chair over so that Deku could have a full view.
There were several photos of a man, most likely early 30's. He had short black hair and a clean cut beard. There was also little information. "OoOoo! Is that a new case?" Sprout piped up from the couch, hopping over and peering at the paper excitedly. Yang smacked her head with it gently, turning to Deku. "Mhm. I was hoping..." The young man trailed off, shifting uncomfortably. Deku smiled. Yang had never been very good at asking for help. "Get some information with my quirk? Sure thing." Yang nodded with a relieved sigh, leaning back in his chair. "He will be about two blocks from here, by the cafe at about 3:00 PM to start his shift."
Nodding, Deku tapped his finger on the table, looking at the clock. It was only 12:00.
You better remember that time or I will drink several beers so that we both have a hangover in the morning. Yang has saved me a whole bunch of times and I'm finally repaying him. Don't screw this up.
Why can't you? Since when was I your human alarm? Also you are not old enough to drink, dumbass.
Since you decided to start living inside me. And I'm a villain now, who cares. Now shut up, I don't want to start mumbling again. And the salmon is finished!
Deku licked his lips as Yin walked out of the kitchen in an apron and oven mitts. The white haired boy set a plate of salmon down, making the young villain's mouth water. "Mmm! Salmon! You are the best cook in the world, Yin-kun." Sprout hugged his leg before climbing into a seat, her feet swinging back and forth excitedly. "Hey, Crimson! Lunch is ready!" Deku heard Streak call over his shoulder as the group leader joined them, dabbing sweat from his forehead with a towel and taking a seat beside Yang and Deku. After a few moments, everyone could hear cursing before Crimson's door slammed open.
The red headed boy stomped out, practically fuming as he sat grumpily across from Streak. They each exchanged glances before Streak grinned slightly. "You okay there?" He chuckled nervously. Crimson glared daggers at him before crossing his arms. "Lets just eat." He growled, leaning over and cutting the salmon into pieces. "Oh! Before we do that, um...I'm writing a story, yeah, and uh, I wanted to ask for some suggestions on names for the villain character!" Deku suggested as subtly as possible. He narrowed his eyes as he could hear the voice double over laughing.
Wow! Villain character, huh? That hurts me.
Shut up you are distracting me.
He was surprised to see the others actually seeming to think about his question as they blinked thoughtfully. "Hmm...Chester?" Sprout suggested eagerly. This made Deku smirk.
Hell no.
Aww, but it's such a cute name~
Fuck off, bitch.
Cackling inwardly, he listened as the others suggested names that just didn't seem to...click. Finally, Yin hummed, "How about Ezuoju? It means Mischief." Deku's eyes shone and he could almost feel the approval radiating off the voice. "Perfect! Ezuoju it is!" He clapped his hands giddily. Immediately after he had finished talking, Sprout scrambled almost on top of the table, grabbing one of the chunks of fish in her hands and chomping on it like an animal. Streak arched an eyebrow, narrowing his eyes. She blinked and, slowly, climbed down, setting the remaining fish on the plate and stabbing it with her fork, grumbling as she chewed it normally.
After a few moments, they let out a cluster of laughs, even Crimson chuckled a bit, relaxing his tense shoulders. Deku smiled softly, his gaze warm as he held back tears. He was happier than he had ever been in his old life. He couldn't believe what small price he had payed for this. Little did he know, a surprise was waiting just around the corner that would make him start to think about how many prices were in store.

So, this was a bit of a filler. I kind of just wanted to have a short, cute chapter with all of them relaxing and bonding. I hope you enjoyed. The next chapter gets super spicy and it'll be pretty long~ ))
