Hey! Just so you know, this chapter takes place two months after the last chapter occured, though Deku is still not sure about the voice, as it disappeared :> Anyway, enjoy! ))

Deku screamed as he was shaken awake, reaching for the dagger on his nightstand, squeezing his eyes shut, ready to attack whoever was trying to kill him. "Woah, woah! Hey! It's just me!" Panting, Deku opened his eyes. Before him stood Crimson, his hands up in amused/shocked surrender. "Oh, sorry Crimson! Don't shake me like that next time. Anyway," He rubbed his eyes, parting his lips in a yawn as he sat up. "What do you need?" He asked, fully awake and beginning to slip out of bed. Crimson grinned at him. Deku noticed the med/tech's hair was smoothed with gel, not as unkempt and wild as it usually was. "Well, Mr. Midoriya, I think you will be delighted to know that you'll be taking your trial today." The young man hummed, striding out of the room with a large smile. Deku's eyes lit up and he almost tripped over his shoes as he scrambled towards the door.

"R-Really?! This isn't a joke, right??" He yelled excitedly. He had been waiting for the trial for months, and was thrilled that his training had finally come to an end. "Mhm!" He heard him reply from somewhere in the living room. "Get dressed! This is your first official duty, so you need to look proper." Streak chimed in. Practically bursting with eagerness, Deku shut the door and opened his closet. He had picked out what he wanted to wear after the first month of training. 'I can't believe I'm finally going to get to wear it!' He slipped off his PJs and grabbed his outfit from it's hanger. It was a white suit with a black tie and black dress pants. Pretty plain, but he was going for simplicity! After he had put them on, he stuffed his hands into the black gloves he had chosen as well. Brushing his hair a bit and looking in the mirror, he grinned.

"Okay...you can do this, Deku." He murmured to himself. With a deep breath, he opened the door, walking out into the living room, barely able to keep the skip out of his step. Streak and Crimson, who were sitting on the couch watching the news report on their latest bank robbery, turned toward him. Crimson let out a low whistle. "Little Deku is all grown up! And quite well." Streak teased, winking. Sprout leaped from her spot at the dining room table. "Wowie, Deku-san! You look so dapper in that suit!~" She cheered, hopping onto his back, gripping his shoulders while he gave her a piggyback ride around the room. "Haha, thanks guys..." He smiled, rubbing his neck sheepishly as Sprout slipped off his back. "You'll do great, Deku." Yang said from behind, placing a large hand on his shoulder and giving him a reassuring smile. Yin nodded from his brother's side.

"Alrighty, everyone! Gather around so that we can give Deku his instructions. Don't ask why I'm making you listen just c'mere." Streak announced. As they all walked over, Deku sliding into a seat beside Crimson and Streak, the others sitting in the other chairs strewn about the room, Deku noted that Streak's arm had healed quite nicely, the scars usually covered by his suit. They had all received new, more official looking suits, though those would be revealed to the public another time. "Okay, Deku, you will be going on a patrol, kind of like the heroes do. Basically, all you have to do is either kill or hurt someone. If you get some extra cash, boom, bonus points. Even better if you run into one of those UA kids or an actual hero. Now, go get em!" After running over the directions in his head once more, Deku smiled and stood, walking over to the door and opening it.

He could already feel the confidence slowly draining from his body, being replaced by anxiety. As he left, a chorus of 'good luck's echoing behind, he reached the street. Clearing his throat, he began walking. He never really liked masks. He actually did want to be known, in a way, since it would promote Downfall a bit more. Plus, he liked walking among people who never had the slightest idea that a villain, one capable of killing them with a quick strike, had just passed by less than a few inches away. He smiled brightly, waving at civilians that passed by here and there. His keen, green eyes trailed along the alleyways, wondering if someone had wandered into one of the secluded spots. Sadly, his eyes didn't catch anyone. 'Maybe a spot up high would work better?' Nodding to himself, he slipped into an alley and leaped on top of a dumpster.

Crouching, he sprung, grabbing the edge of the roof with his fingers. During his training, they had taught him to build muscles in even the smallest of places, especially for leaping roofs. Pulling himself up, he rolled onto the top of the building with a huff, staring up at the cloudy sky. Shaking his head to clear his hesitance, he jumped from one roof to the next, scanning the sidewalks below. He was careful to stay low so that nobody saw him. Suddenly, his eyes caught sight of something, making him halt. Creeping to the edge, he stared down at what had made him so curious. Below were two people, about his age. One was a girl, she had a round face and short brown hair. The other was a boy. He had spiky red hair and sharp white teeth, almost like a shark. They both wore costumes. 'Suits? They can't be heroes? They are too young! Wait...these must be UA students!' He thought excitedly.

He would surely be accepted as a full member if he took out one of them! As he was about to leap down, he was stopped in his tracks by a loud, angry voice. He could recognize that voice anywhere. Eyes widening, he murmured, "Kacchan...?"
