Even though Deku really hadn't wanted to, after a long hour of debating between himself and Ezuoju, they decided that it would be better to have a costume rather than gym clothes. Plus, he was determined to look badass and villain-like. At least, that's what Ezuoju said. With a sigh, he rolled, or rather fell, out of bed. Groaning, he pulled himself to his feet and opened his bedroom door, stepping out into the hallway. He could hear the sounds of pots and pans clanking in the kitchen. Deku heard Ezuoju let out a long, long sigh.
What?
Another disappointment incoming.
Deku made a confused sound. Another sigh.
His cooking is going to be shit compared to Yin's.
This time, it was Deku's turn to sigh. After a few moments of dreadful hesitation, he walked into the dining room. Immediately, Naomasa looked over from where he stood by the stove in the kitchen. His black pupils shone.
I didn't think he'd be so happy to see me. I wouldn't be too happy to see a villain coming out to talk shit about my food.
Weak. And he calls himself a police officer. They are supposed to be hard to crack, not excited at the sight of a whiny teenage villain.
Rude.
Deku gave a lazy wave as he wandered into the kitchen. "What are you making?" He muttered indignantly, trying to cover his curiosity. Naomasa simply grinned. "Konowata." Deku nodded. There were several seconds of awkward silence before Deku murmured, "Um...do you have any paper?" Glancing over at him, the detective tilted his head a bit. "What for?" He said. Annoyance pricked at Deku's mind.
Does he really have to make me say it?
Clearly.
Groaning inwardly, he crossed his arms, looking away in embarrassment. "I want to draw my suit." He whispered. He saw Naomasa smirk and cup a hand to his ear. "What was that? I can't quite hear you, young Midoriya."
UUUUGGGGHHHHH.
His annoyance peaked when Ezuoju sprawled onto the ground of his mind laughing. The easily amused alternate personality gasped for air between fits of laughter. At this point, Deku didn't even bother correcting the detective on his name. Deku whipped around, glaring at Naomasa with smoldering fury glowing in his green irises. He felt a twinge of satisfaction when the officer smiled nervously, scratching his neck. Deku noted that this seemed to be an embarrassed or anxious habit. "Hehe. Sorry, sorry. There is paper in the office." When Deku let out a confused snort, Naomasa added, "Down the hall at the other end of the living room." Giving him a small, semi-apologetic nod, Deku turned away and strolled out of the kitchen, across the living room, and down a hallway.
Finding himself in a doorway, he poked his head inside. It was a typical office, a desk and a chair against the back wall, a bookshelf, and a couple plants. Looking around, he spotted a cardboard box. Shrugging, he walked over, opening it. His eyes lit up as they landed on several notebooks. He grabbed one with childish excitement, letting out a breath of relief when he skimmed through the pages and they were blank. He tucked it under an arm, grabbed a pencil off the desk and retreated across the house, back into his room, with a glance of amusement from Naomasa on the way. Plopping on his bed, he sat cross-legged with the notebook in his lap.
Quickly, he scribbled on the front, "Deku's Journal. Villains Only." He grinned proudly at his work.
PFF- that looks like something a 6 year old would write! What next? 'Boys only, girls not welcome'?
Who asked for your input?
I-
Nobody. Now shut up.
Deku opened the notebook and wrote as the heading: "NOT Hero Suit", which earned a snort from Ezuoju. Quickly, he sketched out the villain suit he had back in his room at the hideout. He frowned. His room. With Downfall. He shook it off and instead smiled at the finished drawing. It was a black suit, a vest, a tie, a pair of black dress pants, and fingerless gloves. He also added on the side that he wanted many hidden pockets. It was true, he didn't have any in his villain suit, but wouldn't it be best to use this chance to get some upgrades? "Midoriya! Dinner's ready!" Grunting, Deku closed his new notebook which he was already attached with.
Well, time for mediocre food.
Don't remind me.

Are you ever writing and you really want to get to the more eventful/exciting parts but you know you have to write filler so that the plot can progress? Yeah, that's what this was. It should've been longer but I lacked the motivation to write out a dinner scene. The next chapter will be his first day at UA :> OH! I got more art of Cat! AU Streak. What? Oh, yes, I am obsessed, thank you for noticing. ))
