Going on the course of this press tour I've had some of the happiest moments in my life. I get to travel across the globe, spend overdo time with my dad and enjoy new experiences with the man I'm falling for.
Within those happy times I find fear as well. I have two options. Go back to New York with my dad to see his Broadway show and experience it with him. Or go back to London with Tom and spend time with his family and friends while he waits for a movie script or an audition.
On top of that I have to worry about my cancer. It's not gone and it could get worse. If I'm in London I won't have the doctor I've had forever. I trust that she'll give the best treatment offer. Then there the New York option. I have the doctor but I don't have my comforting boyfriend.
Now there's a week left of the tour and I'm starting to get panicky.
I jump when I hear a knock at the door. "You ok love?" Tom asks unwrapping his arm from around me to answer the door.
"Yeah." I croak. He doesn't buy it. "Just lost in thought I guess." He nods but doesn't seem convinced.
I hear voices and then footsteps walking into our room. "I brought popcorn!" Zendaya says sprinkling some over my head.
"Hey!" I grab the few pieces she targeted me with and throw them at her.
"What movie are we watching?" She sits down on the floor and dives into the popcorn.
I grab a handful and stuff it into my mouth. "Tom picked a movie." I shrug.
Suddenly Maggie shows up on the screen. "What movie did you pick?" I yell to Tom who's helping Jacob with the drinks.
"White House Down." He drops the new packs of Diet Coke, Dr. Pepper and Mountain Dew. It's surprising that there's no kind of beer.
"Woah Jacob. You went all out." I open the Mountain Dew and grab a can.
"Well my favorites the Dr. Pepper and I know you like the Dew. So I just got all three." He shrugs.
"What about the coke?" I ask taking a swig.
"I want to make swamp juice." He smirks evilly.
"What?" Tom asks through a chuckle.
"You mix the three together and it makes a nice tasting but not looking concoction." He smiles taking a can of all and an empty water bottle be brought with him.
"So Rain have you talked to Hugh lately?" Z asks just to tease Tom.
"Come on. It was a long time ago." It was not a long time ago. Tom groans plopping down in his spot next to me.
The first time Tom got a chance to 'introduce' Zendaya and I was a couple weeks into the time I was with. Tom didn't know that Z and I had already met on the set of The Greatest Showman.
My dad was visiting Hugh Jackmam and took me along. I fangirled at first at the sight of Zac Efron and Zendaya. In Between her scenes we learned more about each other. At the end of the day I didn't want to leave. Z and I exchanged numbers and texted when we had the time.
Throughout the past few years we see each other occasionally and call when we need to talk. She's become a really good friend.
"Was it though?" She squints her eyes and reminds me of MJ in Homecoming. Which makes since she plays her.
We watch the movie and pig out on popcorn as well as order fries from room service because why not. When the movies over Z picks next then Jacob then Tom again because I can't think of a movie. I can't even enjoy the movie that's already on.
