OMNISCIENT.
The young lad held out his right hand, waiting for a firm handshake from Yeoreum, but it didn't come. The girl was still flabbergasted, her hazel eyes ogling the man before her. Yeoreum was stunned beyond comparison.
Yeoreum didn't know what to do, to shake his hand and pretend like she didn't just drool over his sight, or run away because she had already embarassed herself infront of her idol. "U-uh, I'm s-sorry. I'm just in shock. Uhm hello, yeah, nice to meet you." She rambled awkwardly, shaking his hand and looking at the floor, probably hiding the redness of her face.
Yohan laughed at the girl's shyness. "You can let go of my hand now." He told her, smiling at her persistence. "Ohmygosh, I'm so sorry.." She instantly let his hand go, and now Yohan was fully aware of her blushing cheeks.
"You're literally too cute," He pats her head gently, a hearty smirk plastered on his face. "I have to go somewhere now, Lee Yeoreum. It was nice meeting you." He walked towards the store's exit, and that was when Yeoreum realized he had already purchased something, as he was carrying a white paper bag from the store. She thought it was strange, why'd he approach her then?
After the encounter, Yeoreum couldn't focus on the books she was searching through, so she decided to just take a book she had been eyeing when she first came to the store minutes ago. "How much is Yoha- I mean, how much is the book, ma'am?" The cashier lady looked at her weirdly, turning the screen display so Yeoreum could see the price. Yeoreum handed the lady 11,000 won, before heading out. "Keep the change."

Going to school the next day was even more grueling to Yeoreum. She was restless the night before, thinking of ways on how to avoid Yohan at school, that she even forgot to do her Calculus homework. But to her own disappointment, it looks like all her creative efforts were gone to waste with a new ironic encounter.
Homeroom was going to start in a few minutes, and right as the teacher walked in with 5 handsome-looking boys, the classroom almost burst with loud murmurs and squeals here and there. And there it was, strike one for X1.
"Alright class, we have five new students coming into our class, please treat them kindly. Introduce yourselves." Her homeroom teacher, Mr. Jun, gestured the five of them to move forward.
"Hello, I'm Lee Eunsang. 18 years old." The now black haired boy, introduced himself briefly. "Hey guys! My name is Son Dongpyo. I hope we all get along!" Dongpyo said cheerfully, smiling from ear to ear. "Good morning, I'm Kang Minhee." The blonde boy introduced politely.
"Hello everyone, My name is Cha Junho. Please take care of me." Junho bowed, feeling slightly bashful. "I'm Song Hyeongjun, nice to meet you all." Hyeongjun introduced with his cute voice. Yeoreum squinted in annoyance, everytime a chorus of loud screams would follow every after each one of their introductions. She didn't like all the commotion, because she was busy stressing on her unfinished Calculus homework, and partly because she was too shy to look at any one of her new classmates.
"Classroom who? Sounds more like a fanmeeting to me." She whispered under her breath, busy scribbling numbers away on her graphing notebook. "What was that, Ms. Lee? Do you have something to say?" Mr. Jun insisted, making her look up. Yeoreum stood up, fixed her skirt calmly and put on a bright smile. "Nothing sir, I just wanted to say welcome." She feigned a bright tone in her voice.
'Being the class president sure had it's cons'. She discreetly thought in her head whilst sitting back down, removing the smile on her face when she continued to crunch the numbers away. "Why thank you, Ms. Lee. And since you are the head of this class, I'll be asking our new students to be seated near you, so if they have any questions, they could ask you. Would that be alright, Ms. Lee?" Mr. Jun grinned, looking straight at Yeoreum. She knew it was a devil's grin of course.
"Surely, Mr. Jun." She answered with an equally sarcastic smile. 'How great. Just great'. Yeoreum clenched her fist under her desk in frustration. Now, she could only wait until break time comes.
Snapping back to her current reality, Yeoreum wondered if the universe could whip up more interventions to shake up her normal, quiet life. Classes were over, and all the students were heading out the campus to go home.
Yeoreum was walking towards the gate, spotting Hyejoo waving to her at a distance. She strided fast, not even noticing that she bumped past someone through the hall. "Oh sorry." She apologized quickly, turning to the person, "It's alright." The two students locked eyes, one pair wider than the other. Out of all people, she bumped into Lee Hangyul, another X1 member. That was strike two. And if anything could get haywire from there, he was walking with Kim Yohan, the man she was trying to avoid all day.
"Hey, Yeoreum. Didn't know you went to school here too." Yohan took notice, looking at the dumbstruck lass. "W-well, yeah." She stuttered, remembering that they were probably her seniors. "You know her, hyung?" Hangyul asks Yohan innocently. "Yep, she lives near us too." Yohan said matter-of-factly, smirking at her. "We best be going though, we need to go one of our schedules." Yohan placed his arm around Hangyul's shoulder, waving with the other. "Nice meeting you, Yeoreum." Hangyul quickly said, before being pulled away by Yohan.
"I think the universe is trying to tell me that I'm going to die soon." Yeoreum blurted out, once she approached Hyejoo. "Uh, hello to you too, girl." Hyejoo replied, weirded by her friend's greeting. "You okay?"
"No." Yeoreum replied, in a daze. She was staring at something, or rather someone, who was by the gate. There was a huge crowd near the campus exit gate, and looking closely, it was a black van, windows rolled down to reveal Han Seungwoo, who was driving the vehicle. Cho Seungyoun hopped out of the passenger's side and opened the sliding door for the other members to enter. And of course, it wouldn't be complete without a swarm of girls screaming at the side. That, was strike three.
Meanwhile, Seungwoo felt nostalgia running up his body, seeing his old campus. He peeped through the window, not minding the chaos outside the van he was driving. Amidst the large crowd, he managed to catch a girl staring at him, the end of his mouth automatically forming a smile on his face. The car door closes loudly, and Seungyoun sits right beside him. He taps the compartment, "Let's go!" Seungwoo nods, the same smile never leaving his face.
"You're 13 minutes late." Cathy tapped her heels impatiently, eyeing the panting girl in front of her. "Yes, ma'am. I know, and I'm very sorry." She said, barely catching her breath. "Be ready for the meeting in 10. If I see you slacking off," She leads on, her thumb finger passing through her neck. Yeoreum almost gulped, finally letting out a sigh of relief once the elder was gone.
"What's the meeting for? I thought they were already done screening my fanfiction?" Yeoreum rolled her eyes, changing her school ID to her company ID. Seolha laughed at her, "Not for you, silly. Another idol group's signing with us for their promo magazine." Yeoreum nodded in understanding, getting into her desk and whipping out a mirror. "You have no idea what happened to me today, so hear me out on this. I know this is going to sound crazy but X1...."
"They're here early, everyone in the multi-purpose room." A coworker halted Yeoreum's story telling. She couldn't believe it, she didn't even have time to fix herself. All the interns were called in for the meeting, herself included. They swiftly went inside, finding seats across the space. Yeoreum was last to enter the room, so she closed the door behind her. The girl carefully turned to face them, looking at the people in front of her.
"Oh, it's Yeoreum." Strike four.
