  It had been 5 weeks since The Snowball and in that time frame, El and Mike hung out almost everyday.

  They were watching a movie when El mentioned the boy from The Neverending Story was cute.

  "You think so?" Mike asked, looking at the TV in disgust. "I think he's kinda bleh!" He pointed at his open mouth.

  El giggled, "And what do you know about  boys?" She playfully smirked.

  Mike rolled his eyes and huffed. "Well I know the difference between hot boys and bleh boys and he's a bleh boy."

  El crossed her arms, turned towards the screen, and looked away from Mike.

  Mike hadn't known if they were dating yet, it was sort of complicated. They were so smitten, it was crazy. He knew if he explained the concept of a boyfriend to her, she would probably say yes, but he was just too afraid. Mike was always jealous when El said a boy on TV was cute, and when Mike saw a girl on TV and said she was cute, El seemed noticeably tense.

  Mike always lost his mind when it came to her.

  "So, El. I, um, want to ask you something." Mike said, nervously. He wanted to date her very deeply because he loved her.

  "Yes?" She asked, locking her eyes with his.

  "What's your favorite movie right now? Heh." Mike quickly asked, sweatdropping. "What are you actually trying to ask me?" El raised an eyebrow and tilting her head.

"Do you know what a... boyfriend... is?" Mike asked, closing his eyes as if he was about to be hurt.

  "Like in the movies?" El questioned. Mike nodded, "yeah."

   "Yes, I do know what a boyfriend is." She replied, "why?"

  "Well... El, are we boyfriend and girlfriend?" Mike asked, gulping and prepared for the worst.

  "We weren't before?" She asked, confusingly.

   "Wait... WHAT?" Mike shouted, his jaw dropping. "I mean, I know that- uh- we were like, um, you know?" He nodded, trying to avoid the words. "But I just wanted to ask cuz I lo- like, but a different kind of like, you."

   "What do you mean?" El asked. "Different kind of like?"

   "I like you more than a friend, as a boyfriend-girlfriend type." Mike confessed, taking a huge breath after.

   "I love you too." El kissed Mike right on the lips.

     They nuzzled their foreheads and noses against each other, hugging at the same time.

   "You are my boyfriend." El said, smiling.

   "And you are my girlfriend." Mike said, smiling back.

    "We aren't going to see nobody else, we are lovin' right here!" They said in unision.

    The two continued to kiss and nuzzle in each others arms.

  They were happy and loving and finally together.

   "Those 353 days were the absolute worst." El stated, pulling away. "Yeah, it was such bullshit that they kept us apart. But I'm glad you're safe now." Mike replied, continuing their love.

  "I don't ever want to have that happen again, you hear me? I'm here and you're here now so we can forever be united." Mike squeezed El's hands and pulled back in for another kiss.

  After a while, the two fell asleep on the couch. El resting her head on Mike's shoulder.

  The door flew open after a knock sequence was being performed a couple of times.

  "Kid- what the-
