I believe that one day I would be right next to El. It is hard and dark. The moon and all the stars are nothing without her.

Her touch and her skin where do I begin? No words can explain the way I'm missing her. Deny this emptiness and this hole inside, these tears tell the whole story.

She told me not to cry when she was gone, but the feeling's overwhelming it's too strong.

The demogorgon was about to strike. Mike, Dustin and Lucas were terrified, hiding behind the science table for experiments. El stepped forward and held out her hand. She screamed, blood dripping down both nostrils as she tried with all her might to protect her new friends. Mike watched in fear, what if she dies? He repeatingly thought.
Suddenly, El and the demogorgon disappeared into little specs of dust.
It was over. The fight was over.
They won, they did it. But El wasn't there...

I wanted to just burst out and rant to El. I keep calling her everyday to make sure she's okay, but she hasn't replied. That's not a good sign.

I want to take care of her. I don't want to be here if I can't be with her tonight.

I'm reaching out to her, can she hear my call? The party keeps telling me that she won't hear me. This hurt that I've been through, I'm missing her like crazy.

A few months later...

"El?" "Mike!"

We were finally together again, I was by her side. All was happy, except for the fact that the shadow monster was possessing Will and the gate to the upside down was letting the demonic demodogs out of the place well known as hell.

She was dressed differently, a head with hair that was slicked back with gel. Ruined black makeup on too, she seemed tired.

The shadow monster was no match for Joyce and her space heaters though, the monster fleed Will's body, El closed the gate to the upside down, and no one was killed in the process... well, if you don't count Bob Newby but he was killed days ago.

Anyways, everything turned out happy and yada yada yada. Let's go to when El came home from closing the gate, okay?

I was FREAKED. I didn't know if El was going to make it or not.

"Is she here yet?" I asked, repeatingly, ancy to know. I was hoping for the best, preparing for the worst. I already had tears in my eyes for if she didn't make it.

"God damn it Mike! For the fifth time! She'll get here when she gets here!" Steve yelled, annoyed by me. "Sorry! We've been seperated for 353 days and I just want her to be ok! I LOVE HER, OKAY?" I yelled, crying. Dustin and Lucas came over to hug me and calm me down.

"She's gonna be okay, okay?" Dustin said, soothingly. Lucas nodded. They both knew how much pain I had been in for the past year.

Suddenly, lights illuminated the driveway.

My heart was racing as I stood up. My face turned into a great big smile as I ran to the door to open it for them. El looked very weak, and she was sleeping, but she was alive! She looked cute even on being deathly tired. Hopper was carrying her, and set her down to lay on the couch.

"Lay me by Mike's side." El's small, faint voice ordered, as she tried rolling down from the couch. I had tears in my eyes I couldn't explain this feeling I got knowing she was alive and wanted to be by my side and mine only.

Hopper huffed and set her on the floor. I sat down and layed next to her.

"El... you made it. I know you need your sleep but, I uh, wanted you to know that I l-lo-like you stronger than a friend. Also, the snowball- El interrupted my words with a longed for kiss.

  "Love you too." She smiled, closing her eyes and then laying down to get her rest...

    The snowball....

  Every Breath You Take was playing as El walked into the gymnasium. Mike's eyes widened as he saw how beautiful she looked. He raced up to her.

  "Um, El, you uh, want to dance with me?" Mike asked, nervously. "I don't know how to." She replied, frowning. "Neither do I. Want to try and figure it out?" Mike smiled. "Yes." She took his hand as they danced to the song. Then, they had a long kiss. Twas it the best night ever for Mike & El...
