       Dear Diary,

I can't stop thinking about the boy I'm in love with! The first day I met him, he walked in and caught my attention, I'd never seen a boy with so much dimension! It's the way he walks, the way he talks, the way he makes me feel inside! It's in his smile, it's in his eyes, I don't want to wait for tonight! So I'm daydreaming with the chin in the palm of my hand! Got me daydreaming about him and only him! So I'm daydreaming!

   I stood up and closed my bright pink diary and clicked the little lock to make sure my dad didn't look through it, then set it down on top of my dresser. My boyfriend was coming over tonight and I was overly excited, I just couldn't wait! I kept thinking about what we were going to do, and how great it would be to lay eyes upon each other again!

  I snapped out of my daydream as I heard the front door open. I immediately began to freak out. I slid underneath my bed and used my powers to lift myself up so the bad men wouldn't see me.

I was T-E-R-R-I-F-I-E-D as hell, wet tears were dripping down my cheeks as I knew they would find me and I couldn't keep hiding for this long. I was doomed.
I will forever be a lab rat...

I'm done...

I held my breath and kept holding on...

"Kid?" I heard a very familiar voice say.

Wait...

I dropped myself as I realized who it actually was.

"Dad?"

"What on Earth are you doing underneath the bed and why is your nose so bloody?" Dad asked. "Bad men." I reply, pointing to him. "You forgot to use the secret knock." Dad frowned, "Oh yeah, I guess I did." He shrugged and then left my room.

I stood up and went into the living room where dad was watching TV on the couch.

"Date."

Dad jumped. "Gah, you got me again and what?" He asked. "My date with Mike. I'm going to his house tonight." I said, smiling. "El, I- whatever." Dad shrugged and continued to watch his TV.

*.+ time skip +.*

It was finally time to leave for my date with Mike at his house.

"Dad, it's time to go." I tugged at his shoulder. He nodded, stood up and we left in the police cruiser.

We finally arrived at the Wheeler residence. I said goodbye to dad, and went up to the front door of Mike's house. I knocked, lightly.

I was greeted by an eager Mike. I blushed, knowing he was that excited to see me.

"I was daydreaming about you today." I stated. He blushed, "You were?" I nodded and lightly smiled.

He led me down to his basement where he had movies and stuff set up.
"Star Wars?" Mike asked, pulling out the Star Wars: A New Hope VHS tape. I nodded, excitingly. I loved Star Wars!

   I cuddled close to him as we watched the movie.

  "Do you think your mom would be mad if I stayed the night?" I asked, looking up at him. "I don't think she would mind, but I don't know about Hopper." Mike answered, giggling.

   "We could just say it's a sleepover with the whole party and say Max is here too." I said, grinning deviously. "True..." Mike slowly agreed. I stood up to go phone dad. "What are you doing?" Mike asked.

    "Phoning dad."

  Mike nodded and I proceeded to make my way to the phone to ring dad.

   "Dad? Hey- no everything is fine! The party is having a sleepover at Mike's, can I stay too, pleaaaaaase?" I pleaded, crossing my fingers. I hung up the phone and turned to Mike with a depressed look on my face.

  He frowned. "What's wrong, angel? Did he say no?" Mike questioned.

  My lips flipped from upside down to a huge grin.

  "He said yes!!" I squealed, excitingly.

  "That's great!" Mike exclaimed, getting up to hug me. "Want to sleep in your bed or the fort?" I asked, smirking. His mouth, dropped.

  "Did I ask too much?" I anxiously asked, I hoped I didn't push it. He smiled, "I'd never thought you'd ask!"

  Later, it was time to go to bed.

  "I was daydreaming about this moment." I said, shocking Mike once again.

  "You planned this?" He asked. I nodded and smirked. "I couldn't wait for tonight all day!" I exclaimed. We decided to sleep in the fort so we blew an air mattress up and both happily got in.

   "I love you." He said.

   "I love you too."
