"If I breathe slowly, let it out let it in. It can be terrifying, to be slowly dying also clarifying we end where we begin."

Catch & Release - Matt Simons

El and Mike always had a meeting spot for when Mike got back from school. It was a secluded spot in the woods where no one else ever saw. They had a fort and whenever they went their they made their own rules. It wasn't lonely, they had each other. They found what they were made of their. They were happy.

Everyday was a journey to see how far they could go, searching for life's meaning.

El and Mike danced at their spot, to their own rhythm.

The constant "I love you's" said at this spot, the endless kissing with no limits due to others' rules, and the chemistry between two ones.

Everyone said that ones their age could not possibly know what "true love" is, but they had found it. They knew. Waiting 353 days for someone without losing hope is certainly true love. No one could tell them otherwise.

This was the place they knew, the place they could go, their own world.

Everybody has their reasons, everybody had their way.

Maybe life's reason was to be in each other's arms, maybe it was to find each other.

Mike would never leave El's side, El would never leave Mike's side; even if the world was depending on it, even if Hopper tried to seperate them, even if they got into a fight, even if some cute boy or girl came and tried to date one of them, nothing could rip them apart.

Those 353 were damn worth it if it meant El could be by Mike again.

Their purpose was to come on this Earth to find each other and be hopeless romantics.

Even if your whole life you're slowly dying, they would die together in each other's arms and that was good enough for them...
