I had a dream and in the dream my relative and I were preparing to go somewhere.
I can only remember what I wore. It was a black indecent dress.
Some of my family members were not pleased with my dressing but they did not confront me.
They were quiet but the look on their faces could tell something was wrong.
However, I did not consider my dressing and I was ready to leave.
This could only mean that I was comfortable in it.
But before we left I went to the mirror. I was shocked...I couldn't believe the indecency reflected in the mirror which was my image!
Looking at the mirror made me realise that my dressing was indecent and that I should not wear it.
My relative tried to convince me otherwise for she saw nothing wrong with the dress for many dress in that manner.
I believe that the mirror is the word of God.
My relative represents the world and my other family members represent those who know the truth but are afraid to tell you lest the friendship is broken.
They would rather keep quiet and maintain the friendship though they are displeased with what you do.
The Word of God is the living truth.
It is open like a mirror when you look at it you see your reflection.
It is easy to believe what you see than what you hear.
The world will comfort you tell you it is okay to live in sin others have lived in it and have not died so there is nothing wrong with it.
But there is a truth that cannot be doubted and that is the Word of God.
It gives you a clear image of what you have become no hiding,no colouring, no edition but the real you.
Whether you will like it or not it does not hide from you what you have become out disobedience.
The Word of God is so unique in that all the issues of life have been addressed in it more than the world could give.
For the worldy advice is only for the world but he who looks to the things of above seeks the things of the spirit. And the Word of God, is the bread of life satisfying the Spirit.
2 Corinthians 3:18,
[18]And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit.
Blessed be the name of the only one true God enthroned in the Highest Heaven,even his son Jesus Christ. Amen
