"Please don't go, baby." A dissatisfied glance dug into Noen's presence, having his boyfriends begging eyes stare at him, making his eyes look as big and as bright as possible, accomplishing the mission of staring like a needy puppy. "Why not, Chase? It's just for today. Jaden said he'd take me back home by nine." Chase sighed, still refusing to be happy with Noen leaving him alone.

"I get that you don't want to stay here alone, but i can't always be around you.. Sometimes i want to go out with my friends too, you know? I don't want to be stuck at home all the time, i feel isolated, Chase.." Noen tried to sound convincing, attempting to make his boyfriend understand. And he was sure he did understand, but something still seemed to bother the boy.

"But- You will be gone all day, Noen.. Just- Please, don't go.." Of course, Chase understood Noen. He wanted to see his friends, which was completely valid. But his lover would be gone all day, which would waste a whole day of the last seven days he had left with him. "Can i at least come with you? I promise i-"

"No. You're not in the state to go out, you need to rest." Noen talked back. In no way he would let Chase go out, considering how weak and sick he was at the moment.

Chase knew, there was nothing else he could do to stop the boy. He didn't want to be mad at him either. He after all didn't know that Chase would be gone very soon.

"Please take care. And be home at nine, okay? I'll wait for you." Noen smiled at his boyfriend. "You don't have to, but i guess i can't stop you, am i right?" The latter had to chuckle. "Yeah, guess you're right."

Noen leaned down to place a kiss on Chase's ice cold, pale cheek. Not minding and ignoring the cold. "Text me when you need something, bub." The younger nodded, before giving the blonde haired boy a weak smile.

Not much later Noen had finally left the house, Jaden already waiting in his car in front of the building. He shortly waved before, somewhat running, up to the car, hopping in quickly as he greeted the driver with a friendly hug. "You kinda look stressed man, you good?" Jaden asked once he pulled out of their greeting hug. As the latter buckled his seatbelt, he managed to nod his head visibly and hum a 'Mhm'. "You sure?" Jaden asked again. "Yeah, can you drive already, fathead?" The latter rolled his eyes in response, starting the car shortly after.

The ride was rather quiet. All they really talked about were the songs from Jaden's playlist that was playing. They either sang along, spilled some tea about the artists, or got into discussions of wether the songs were bops or flops.

They had eventually agreed on grabbing some food at taco bell, driving into the parking lot before walking into the restaurant.

Once they were done ordering, they sat across of each other with their orders placed on the table between them. As they were starting to eat their food, they got into a small talk. "How's Chase doing?" Jaden asked, somewhat out of the blue. It didn't really catch Noen off guard, he just didn't know how to reply. He wasn't going to lie to their close friend, but neither did he know wether Chase was even comfortable with the boys knowing about his utterly bad state. "He's okay." Noen eventually mumbled, stuffing some fries into his mouth. "You sure man? He doesn't seem okay at all. Like, holy. You know that scene were iron man dies? Where he is like, laying on the floor like a weak ass pussy? That's how Chase looks every d-" "Quit it."

Noen looked down, keeping his eyes on his food as he tried to swallow the harsh words that just came out of Jaden's mouth. "Shit, i'm sorry man." Jaden apologized sincerely. "But you know it's true, right?"

Noen had to swallow. "Yeah." He mumbled, eyes still staring at his food.

"Aren't you concerned, man? I mean, it's been months, dude. And his health is just getting worse with each day. How you think he's gonna survive like that?" Jaden asked, trying to make his words sound less direct and harsh as they actually were.
