"I remember everything so clearly." Noen smiled brightly, walking down the little road next to the small lake they first met at. Chase had to chuckle, watching his lover's excitement that built up in him as the sight of the place threw him back into the memory of the day they met.

Noen say down, telling his boyfriend to do the same thing, which he did. They were now watching the lake, admiring its beautiful calmness.

"You looked so pretty that day. With your pink locks covering your crystal blue eyes." Chase spoke, his arm wrapping around his boyfriends shoulder, which caused him to simply rest into Chase's embrace.

"Are you for real? I looked like a whole mess. I didn't put any effort into looking decent, since none of my friends even told me a cute boy would be there too." The elder admitted.

"Oh, so you thought i was cute, huh?" Chase asked with a wide grin.

"I still do."

They started talking about the day they met. How awkwardly they were just staring at each other, admiring each other secretly, after just meeting minutes ago. How their friends noticed and laughed at the two of them, before actually leaving them alone so they would, as Anthony said, start to freaking talk, before their tongues dry out.

Noen laughed. "Remember how at that time Cynthia was in love with you?" Chase had to gulp at the thought of her. "Yeah. Yeah, i do. Very clearly." He shook his head, before eventually laughing about it too. "She would constantly send glares at us." The blonde remembered.

August 2018, the day Chase and Noen met.

Quietly, the two men were sitting next to each other at the lake, the night sky reflecting in the clear water, giving them an admirable sight. Their friends weren't sitting too far away from them, checking up on them every now and then. Noen had noticed the blonde girl, who's name was, if he remembered right, Cynthia Parker, sending glares their way suspiciously often. He had to frown.

"Hey.." He tapped Chase's shoulder, which made him look up. "Hm?"

"This Cynthia girl keeps glaring at us man." He whispered, an awkward laugh following. He didn't want the girl to hear. Chase barely showed an reaction, he just frowned for a second and replied with a dry "Oh." , which left Noen a little confused.

"Does she like you?" The pink haired boy dared to ask, and Chase cleared his throat.

"Cynthia believes she's in love with me." He responded, his look moving back to admire the lake. Noen nodded. Now he was the one showing no reaction, and just mumbling a dry, and somewhat disappointed, which he couldn't even explain why, "Oh."

"But true love is not real if it's not returned." Chase added, and so he dared to move his look back to the short boy sitting next to him, letting their eyes lock. "Do you agree?"

Noen was lost. Lost in the boys eyes. His head tilting to the side, as his tongue was gently licking over the flesh of his lower lip. "I do not believe in love."

For a minute it went quiet, both of them trying to comprehend the things they were just saying. Chase eventually continued their conversation. "That is too sad for me to accept."

Chase took a deep breath, closing his eyes for a second while he was taking in the fresh air. As he exhaled and opened his eyes again, he passed the frankly confused but focused boy a glare.

"Life is too cruel. If we cease to believe in love, why would we want to live?" Chase let Noen stare for a little longer, before smiling at him and getting up, walking back to his friends without saying anything else.

Something about those words did something to Noen. Something clicked in him. It felt like Chase managed to connect multiple puzzle pieces inside of Noen with just a few simple words, and the boy could not even explain how this was possible.

"Do you still refuse to believe in love?" Chase asked after a while of silence. Noen sighed comfortably, letting his eyes wander up to meet Chase's. He smiled, feeling genuinely happy, which Chase could tell.

The shorter leaned in to place a gentle kiss on his boyfriend's cold lips, before responding to his question.

"You know, i lied when i said that."

He rested his head onto Chase's shoulder, talking a hold of his hand and letting their fingers intertwine. Chase was about to ask about it, before Noen continued his statement.

"I knew all my hopes in love came back the second i saw you standing there, smiling down at me for the first time. When you leaned down to me, holding out your hand and giving me that precious smile of yours, which showed off your weird but somewhat adorable vampire looking teeth. When you said 'What's up, i'm Chase.' and my cheeks went all rosey, because i had no idea what to do or say. That's when i knew i would fall in love again, wether i would want to or not."

Chase placed a kiss on Noen's head, letting his fingers play with the strands of his blonde hair. "If only time would slow down." Noen added.

"Sometimes i wish we were still at the beginning of our relationship."

Chase was a little confused at that statement, but he refused to let that ruin the beautiful moment they had.

"I'm in love with you, Chase Hudson. And i will never shut up about it."

Noen suddenly had to laugh. He sprung up, pulling the latter up with him. "What the heck, Noen- What are you doing-"

Noen placed his hands on his boyfriends shoulders, looking up at him. "Dance with me."

Chase shook his head in confusion. "Excuse me, what-"

"I have never danced in the moonlight before. And i would really want to.. Please? Just one dance?"

Chase chuckled. His boyfriend was admittedly the most random and questionable person on earth.

"We're in the middle of nowhere, Noen- Besides that, we don't even have any music to dance to- Where the heck did that idea even come from, i-"

"Shh, sh! We don't need music. Just close your eyes and imagine, okay?" Noen said as he took his boyfriends arms and wrapped them around his waist, before placing his own back on Chase's shoulders. The younger then nodded.

How could he say no? If his boyfriend wanted to dance under the moonlight at a lake in the middle of nowhere, with no music, then they shall dance under the moonlight at a lake in the middle of nowhere, with no music.

And so they were dancing the night away,
on the night before their last four days.
