Woke up this morning
Heard the TV sayin' something
'Bout disaster in the world and
It made me wonder where I'm going
There's so much darkness in the world
But I see beauty left in you girl
And what you give me let's me know
That I'll be alright

'cause if your love was all I had
In this life
Well that would be enough
Until the end of time
So rest your weary heart
And relax your mind
Cause I'm gonna love you girl
Until the end of time

You've got me singing
Oh whoa, yeah
Oh whoa, yeah
Everybody sing
Oh whoa, yeah
Everybody singing
Oh whoa yeah~

Camila’s P.O.V.

I hopped in one of my town cars; I had given Lauren my town car that Peter drove for her use. I glanced at my watch as the driver shut the door behind me. SHIT, I’m late! I exhaled the breath that was trapped in my lungs, the air giving me a slight sense of relief.

WHAT THE HELL WAS SELENA TALKING ABOUT?

I took in a breath, DON’T LET HER GET TO YOU, she’s talking nonsense or was she? I have no fucking idea. I know my family, this business, I shook my head, closing my eyes tightly, and my father…what will my father say? Was it true? Is my father giving me the company? I can’t run the company; I’m not ready! I began to somewhat choke on my own breath. I reached for a glass, pouring myself some whiskey; I need to calm myself down. I took a sip, the familiar warmth seeping in, doing exactly what I needed. Selena was probably drunk; it’s fine.

“The restaurant is coming up to your right,” I said before taking another sip, I felt pretty good, the driver opened the door, “thanks,” I stepped out, straightening my coat as he closed the door behind me, “you’re off for the rest of the night, Peter will be around later to pick me up.”

“Have a good evening Miss Cabello,” he tipped his hat before making his way back into the town car.

I tugged on my coat, giving my head another quick shake, brushing off Selena’s craziness. Right now it’s dinner, that’s it, a double date? We couldn’t just start off with regular dates, just the two of us, NOOOO, a double date; I swallowed the nervousness as I began to make my way inside. I guess a double date is okay, if it’s what Lauren wants, that’s okay with me.

“Miss Cabello,” the hostess smiled, almost flirtatious.

“Hey,” I let out in the same tone, CRAP, I didn’t mean to, it was like a reflex.

She gave me a seductive half smile, “this way, your party’s waiting for you.”

I really need to stop doing that. I followed her to the back, towards a table, it wasn’t just three people, OH NO, I see seven heads. WHY DO I SEE SEVEN HEADS? LAUREN!!! She would invite ALL my friends…THE COUPLES…am I part of THE COUPLES now?

“It’s about damn time!” Dinah yelled from her seat, Adam next to her, all heads turning in my direction-GREAT.

I held my hands out, flashing them my charming smile, “what can I say,” I finally made it to the table, “I’m a working girl now, I had some work to finish.” I winked.
