Third person POV

Jason rolled over in his bed. He was restless tonight, well at least more so then usual.

He thought it must have something to do with the run in with the 'heroes'.

Thinking about his old life wasn't doing Jason did often. It's not like there was much to think about, he couldn't remember a thing.

All he knew was what Ra's told him. That's the colorful horribly dress kids and someone named Batman had killed him. That Ra's used the Lazarus pit to save him.

He didn't dare think if he had a family. People who mourned him. He was sure he didn't. Cause if he did Ra's would have told him.

He had dreamed about the moment me would finally face them. To get revenge. But it wasn't what he expected. He thought when he saw those heroes he would feel something; anger, rage, or even the slightest bit of annoyance. But  seeing them he just felt hollow.

It didn't matter. Ra's promised the heroes would pay soon enough, all he had to do was be patience.

But still he felt a longing for—something. As though he was missing a part of himself.

Damian's POV
Renegade wasn't what I expected. Sure he was cold, cruel, and calculating. But at the same time he seemed almost kind.

Kinder then anyone I have ever met. Maybe it was because he was one of he few people outside my family that didn't want me dead. Or maybe because he was the first one to stand up for me.

Though I wasn't dumb enough to believe that Athena and her lackeys would stop messing with me. They would certainly be more careful about it.

As for training, it was also different then anything I had ever experienced. It was grueling, maybe worst then usually. But Renegade didn't punish me or yell if I made a mistake. He would simply wait till I corrected it.

"So do you know Red Arrow?" I asked remembering the heroes last words to me. 'Please tell Ren, I'm sorry.'

"From the Junior Justice League. I suppose, though I can't say I'm extremely fond of him. Or the rest of the heroes for that matter. Why do you ask?" Renegade said.

I thought about my next words carefully, Renegade had to be lying. Though I cant call him out on it without saying what happened to Red Arrow. And if they had been friends, that probably wasn't the best idea.

Instead I shrugged, "haven't read an reports involving him with the league in a while." I drawled pretending to careless.

"Maybe he quit." Renegade said twisting his sword around his hand before putting it back in its sheath.

I wonder how he knew Red Arrow, he didn't seem like the type to have friends, much less friends that were in the league. Renegade was definitely not as he appeared. And he was most definitely not the sharing type.

"So where did you get that sword?" I asked. Renegade eyed him briefly then said "Slade gave it to me as a gift."

I opened my mouth to asked another question but Slade stepped in front of us. "Renegade come with me." Renegade immediately left with Slade not even bothering to say good bye.

"Rude." I mutter to himself. I guess I'll just have to get my answers a different way.

Yo I'm extremely tired and should be sleeping but it's been forever since I've updated and I feel horrible.

Again I'll try and update soon but no promises.

P.S.
if the editing is even worst then usual it's cause I'm tired and lazy and really wanted to get this posted today.

Also I thought I was ready to post this then I realized I needed a title and I was really lazy so I guess that's unfortunate for you guys

Okay well until next time
