On our way back to Saitama's flat, Genos brings me to a clothes shop to buy myself something to wear other than the crispy ancient gown that makes me look some sort of freaky witch from the swamps.
As I shove hangers out of the way and search through shelves, Genos pauses and gapes in front of some yellow hoodies. He mutters a torrent of nonsense, "Could it be that this is master Saitama's secret? Surely not, it couldn't be his clothes... I suppose that there's only one way to find out. Yes, I will defiantly-"
"You doing alright?" I peer at his flushed face. Genos snaps his head around to face me with a somewhat dumb expression. He's looking more and more like that idiot of his master...
"Ah, Lucia. I apologise." He bows. "I've found something for you to wear." Genos takes something yellow from the shelf and I watch dubiously as it unfolds, the result is it almost sweeping the floor.
"It's a little big, Genos. The other 'hoodies' I saw only reached either my stomach or things depending on whether or not they were 'cropped'," I say to be young cyborg, who isn't the slightest bit deterred.
"I will also purchase this hoodie," he says, choosing another.
Genos, his mind set, is obstinate that we are both getting this strange yellow hoodie which says 'oppai'. He appears to be displaying some signs of giddiness at the mention of his masters' reaction to our new clothes. This makes me extremely curious as I follow him through streets, the throngs of people thinning out drastically as we near the flat.
Suddenly I sense a presence. I was about to ask the hot cyborg man why this area is so abandoned, but I've just realised why... "Genos! To your left!"
"Once I deal with your disciple, you're next, Saitama!"
The monster is far too fast for Genos to react. I watch his calculating eyes in slow motion as he reaches the desperate conclusion that his only choice is to sacrifice an arm to dodge.
That certainly works, but all the time I've spend resting has allowed some of my ancient powers to seep back into my body, now that it isn't damaged like before. Visualise a sponge, in my injured state the sponge - my body, was unable to absorb power, but now that is has been somewhat cleaned it can function again. Not as efficiently as before the sealing, but enough... enough to save Genos!
A shield of golden magic shatters the impact of the the smiling purple monster's sharp weapon. It's sadistic grin is flipped upside-down, and it's eyes flash me with an icy glare.
