Part 7

(This is the background chapter. Reader first met Adora in the Horde. Remember that time where Adora goes to the First Ones tower to try and get help from light hope to learn how to use the sword to heal Glimmer. After the princess prom and then being taken by the Horde. Adora rekindles with Catra and they go through some old memories. Yeah. That part where they are training when younger. That's where this part starts.)

His grip upon my wrist tighten to point that I thought it will most likely leave behind a bruise. His claws even started to dig into my skin. My eyes watered as he dragged me down the dark halls of the Fright Zone. I tripped slightly over my feet multiple times but he just pulled me right back up and kept walking.

After what seemed like hours of being dragged around, he finally stopped and shoved me to a window. I held my forehead after it made hard contact with the glass. I glanced back at the taller man, and he just stared at me with anger. I flinched and looked through the glass. "Watch them spar, and maybe you will learn something important for once."

I nodded lightly so my headache won't get worse. I watched as a blonde girl my age was fighting with rods against a girl that greatly resembled a cat.

They swung at each other, trying to reach for the green area on their vests. The cat girl jumped back as the blonde stood cockily.

Kitty ran forward swinging, causing Blondie to lean back and dodge the attack, before countering. Kitty swung for Blondie's head making her duck. Kitty placed her finger on Blondie's forehead when she arose. They both giggled and laughed.

They must be very close friends.

Blondie swung causing kitty to jump up to dodge. Kitty landed on Blondie's weapon and swung hers down; Blondie caught the weapon and slinged her to the floor. Kitty exclaimed to be hurt causing Blondie to worry and run over. She bent down but Kitty used her pole to knock her off her feet.

Landing on her back, Blondie looked up to see Kitty striking down, but rolls to her left before anything happened. Kitty tries again but Blondie is able to use her weapon to keep the stick away.

Another girl comes out and attacks Kitty, allowing Blondie to escape. Other girl pulls back her rod letting Kitty fall to the floor. Other swings again but Kitty defends and pushes her forward. She flips but also loses her pole. Kitty uses an end of her stick and stabs at the Other girl's green area on her vest. An alarm rings out, meaning Other girl is out of the battle.

Kitty stands and pants staring down the other girl, before turning to Blondie's battle cry behind her. She turns to block the attack but Blondie is super focused and knocked the pole out of her hands and slashed down on Kitty's vulnerable spot on the vest.

Blondie reached out to give Kitty a hand up.

I watched the whole thing in amazement. I wished I could have the same kind of friendship Blondie and Kitty have. Or even a friend in general.

Hordak doesn't let me make friends. He thinks that once I form the bond that I will get lazy or rebellious against him and stop helping him attack the Rebellion. Or when they go into battle and don't come back, I will be too depressed and won't work. (Does that make sense?)

I've been isolated for being too important to him, yet he still treats me like trash. I lose my voice constantly from screaming and crying as he tortured me to know everything from every book I've ever read. I luckily know sign language (let's say it exists okay?) so I signed I needed the bathroom. He nodded but still watched through the glass.
