Episode 2
Part 8

While the group was walking to Bright Moon, (Yn) was still knocked out. Adora volunteered to carry her since Bow had his quiver and arrows/bow on his back and Glimmer didn't want to lose contact with the sword. Plus, she seemed to be the strongest out of the three.

Along the way, Glimmer grumbled as she walked slowly. She awoke just ten minutes ago after teleporting so many people, which made her pass out as well. Her arms were crossed over her chest, the sword strapped to her back by rope.

Bow kept taking glances between the princess and the soldier carrying the girl with photographic memory. He felt worried for his friends, but he also knew they could protect themselves.

The (hc) girl may not seem like it, but she is very smart when it comes to defending herself in a fight. She knows how to use the opponents weight and fighting style against themself. She was very strong for her size.

She was just scared.

Adora groaned and shifted the girl behind her. Her blue steel eyes drifted to the princess in front of her. "So, princess, thanks for saving me back there. I really app-"

"Don't thank me. I just need you alive so we can dig information about the Horde out of you." Glimmer stopped and turned to the soldier. Her eyes were cold as ice, shooting the daggers of frozen water at the blonde.

"Glimmer. Adora, please excuse her. She just has a deep past with the-"

"Bow! Stop spilling secrets about me to the Horde spy." (Yn) winced in her sleep, whimpering quietly. She twisted and almost fell off the blonde's back.

Adora hushed into her ear, whispering warm facts to help calm her. The (skin color) teen shoved her nose/face into her carrier's neck, sighing and falling back to a peaceful sleep.

"Okay. I'm sorry. I know that you might be this giant lady when using the sword, but I don't trust you. Even if you've been helping out (Yn) all day."

Glimmer groaned out her apology. Her pink/purple eyes were downcast, following the wave of a single strand of grass.

"It's fine, princess. I actually wanted to ask you two something since (Yn) is asleep. Whenever something comes up with the Horde, she has some kind of panic. Did something happen with her? Something with the Horde?"

Adora's question sent the two others freeze and choke up on words. "What? Is it that bad? Should I be worried?"

"Why would you be worried? It's not like you're friends with her. Or with any of us." Glimmer crossed her arms.

"Actually, Adora, (Yn)'s past is her story to tell. We only know, because we were the ones who found her and brought her to Bright Moon." Bow's voice was sincere and concerned.

They all shared a solemn look, until a hand reached out and pet the blonde as if she was a horse. "Good girl."

After (Yn) came back to her senses, she was placed back onto the floor and dragged by Glimmer so they could reach the village faster. Bow took this as a chance to learn more about Adora, but she took this as a chance to look at the (brunette/blonde/raven-ette/other). She knew the smaller teen from somewhere.

It was in the tip of her tongue.

But it couldn't come out just yet.
