Chapter 18- WHAT?!

Roses POV

At this current moment I'm contemplating on wether or not it's time to show 'Sapphire' a little bit more of her true identity, she doesn't know too much about who she's supposed to be but I do. I'm going to take her for a walk to the cave and show her who she really is.

Sapphires POV

After saying goodbye to Grayson i head outside to the backyard, thank god Rose saved me from that moment. I almost forgot that I'm going to leave soon anyways and I can't get too attached to anyone, not even my mate.

"Sapphire, do you trust me?" Rose asked. Do I trust her? I guess I've never trusted anyone before so I don't know the emotion too well but she is somewhat like me, she's also kind and was the first one to offer to show me around. Is this feeling trust? I think it is.

"I trust you with all my heart Rose"

"You know you don't have to say that, if you don't trust me it's fine" she said looking at me sort of worriedly

"I actually trust you" I said reassuring her

"Well follow me then" she then motioned towards the direction she started walking to.

We then walked in silence for a good 20 minutes and we were now in the middle of the forest. Damn, the first person I've ever trusted brought me to the middle of the fucking forest to murder me, isn't that lovely? I might have to go on psycho white wolf on her ass but I mean let's just see what happens.

"Here we are" Rose said motioning towards a cave in front of us

"Um Rose I don't think I'm comfortable with you taking me into a dark cave, I feel like you're gonna murder me or something" I said look at her nervously

"I took you out here because you said you trusted me, we went on a 20 minute walk because you said you trusted me and now we're going to go into this cave because you said you trusted me, now let's go" she said already marching forward leaving me to scurry quickly behind her to catch up.

She took me into the cave and automatically walked through a small practically unnoticeable crevasse to the right. After squeezing through the small hole we walked another 5 minutes in the darkness.

"Where are we going?" My voice echoed through the wet walls of the cave

"You'll find out soon were almost there" and just as she said that we walked up to a dead end

"Here it is" she said confidently

"Um I don't know if you noticed this but this is just a wall" I told her as if I was captain obvious

"Well duh, I have to open it" she said in a way that I was stupid

"It's a wall how do you suppose we open..." right when I was about to finish my sentence she started chanting words that I didn't recognize but yet somehow I understood them. It was impossible, I've never heard this language before yet I understand every word she is saying just like it was English.

"Yote bemn prew queb fryg spaf" then just like that in a blink of an eye the wall was gone. What?

"So Angelica this is the hidden temple, it's only made for specific people to enter here, specifically, your parents, you, your guardian, and your mate. I am of course your guardian because I'm obviously not your mate or your parents. So let's cut to the chase, you're a very special type of wolf and I'm aware you already know that by the way you hide your fur colour and somewhat mask your scent of very strong authority, but there is much more to what you thought you knew" she said staring at me very seriously, is this a joke?

"Is this a joke? Because if it is it's not very funny" I told her

"No Angelica this is not a joke, you're not only the only existing white wolf alive but you are also the only female Lycan alive, now I don't know if there are anymore Lycans because the Moon Goddess only told me specifically about you and history but for all I know you're the only existing one. Now this means you are bigger, way faster and way stronger than any wolf you will ever come across in your life. If you play your cards right and train hard enough I believe that if there are any other Lycans out there you can be stronger than anyone of them because you are a white wolf of course! And even the Moon Goddess told me you're the only FEMALE Lycan I believe that would also make you stronger, if it didn't mean you were stronger than why would you be the only one created and maybe more males were created? Makes sense right? But anyways I know it's a lot to take in so right now just let it process in your head while following me to where the prophecy lies" Holy shit she likes to talk

I am so confused, first of all I know 100% she can't be lying because she knows my real name is Angelica and that I'm a white wolf so that's something. What the hell is a Lycan? I need to learn more about that and the Moon Goddess? Why would she want anything to do with me in the first place? Why can't I be a regular boring she wolf, who is way smaller than the alphas wolf and would probably die in a fight against one. None of this makes sense to me at all.
