Sapphires POV
I woke up in the warm muscular embrace of my handsome mate. He laid asleep softly snoring. I started trying to get out of his arms but his grip just kept tightening forcing me to stay.
"Don't leave" He mumbled sleepily
"I haveeee to peeeeee" I whined but his grip just got tighter around my waist
"No" he said childishly
"I will pee right here then" I said, he then opened his eyes and pushed me off the bed from my sudden threat
"You are allowed to pee now" he said looking scarred
"Thank you my good sir" I then bowed and proceeded to walk towards the bathroom, he just chuckled, got out of bed and turned towards the wardrobe most likely putting on workout gear so we can get a little early morning training before we leave to go to this packs territory.

I looked into the mirror as I was walking out of the bathroom and ran my finger against the beautiful mark my mate gave me. It was like the drawings I used to make, the ones with the two different wolves, one black and one white. The mark was exactly like mine and Graysons wolves sitting together howling at the moon. It was beautiful and I couldn't imagine anything else taking its place.
After I did all my business and Grayson did his, we went downstairs, into the forest and threw out packed bags of clothes behind a close tree. Then proceeding to shift into our wolves. We looked at each other and locked eyes, that's my cue! we both started sprinting at full speed obviously me being faster than him but still it's fun besides I don't run at my fastest with him just so our run can be together.
We reached our little field next to the bed of water with a waterfall and we both shifted. I walked over to the gigantic elder tree that's grown to the right of the bed of water and picked up a bag of clothes that we've tucked in the overgrown roots that's have grown out of the ground. I threw Grayson his shorts and put on my own along with a tank top.
I walked over to the bed of water and placed my feet inside of it, Grayson then did the same thing, sitting next to me where I could feel our energies flowing together.
"So how are we traveling to this pack, are we using the cars or our wolves?" I asked him as my head found its usual spot on his toned shoulder.
"I was thinking that since it would be a longer drive Jackson and Dave could take our luggage in the car and we would go in wolf form. It would only take us about 4 hours running at our speed but traveling by car would take about 7. Plus it would look badass if an Alpha showed up with his phenomenal mate who is practically bigger than him in wolf form" he said chuckling making me giggle too
"Ok that sounds like a plan then, want to walk back in human form? It would only take 15 minutes and we wanna save our energy maybe we could make it under 4 hours" I said with a jokingly wink at the end
"Whatever makes you happy m'lady" he said with a little bow at the end and then we started walking back.

Landons POV
The Nightfall pack is coming today and I couldn't be anymore stressed, I was told the Alpha and Luna would be arriving in wolf form so Britney and I would have to wait outside in the backyard which is connected to the forest with my pack mates behind me. Knowing Britney, she's going to just keep whining if they show up even the slightest bit late but I keep telling her if she does anything to upset the Alpha or Luna were screwed so hopefully she understands everything by now. Well time to get ready and hopefully make a good first impression.

Sapphires POV
Grayson and I were about 5 minutes away from their pack house until I stopped completely and he did too curious as to what I was doing.
"Go" I mind linked him sprinting towards the pack house with him on my tail racing to be the first ones there and then just before we left the tree line to their backyard we stopped and looked at each other.
"Before we go over there we need to look super professional okay? I know you're really good at that and stuff but I'm just giving you a reminder" he linked to me
"Of course I will be! If anything you should be professional you goof" I linked back
"Ok well let's look pretty while we calmly and slowly but not to slowly walk out side by side so we look the strong Alpha and Luna part" Grayson linked sounding excited
"Ok on three, 1....2....3..." I linked then we cut off our link
We started walking out of the tree line looking at the Alpha, Luna and pack with the pack house behind it. Oh no. Oh no no no no, this can't be happening! Landon?! I should've asked Grayson what pack needed help before we left! Okay well I'm going to deal with it and just get it over with then I can leave and have my happy life again.
We kept walking up looking very professional and stopped in front of them. We then sat down with our backs straight waiting for them to greet us.
"Alpha" Landon said looking at me, wait does he think since I'm bigger I'm the alpha? HAH I snorted a laughter out and that made him realize his mistake
"Oh I'm so sorry Luna" he said then turning back to Grayson
"Hello Alpha Hales, I am Alpha Hudson and this is my Luna Britney West soon to be Britney Hudson" Landon said and I felt a tiny little tug at my heart but it had no affect on me. Grayson walked behind the closest tree with the back he had carried in his mouth, he shifted and changed and then walked back over to introduce us but I decided to not shift yet, at least until he introduced me.
"Nice to meet you Alpha Hudson and Luna West, I am Alpha Hales and this is my mate, head warrior, and the Luna of my pack Ms. Moon" he said handing my my clothes, I walked behind the same tree, shifted and put on the clothes and walked back out, hearing gasps throughout the pack, while I was just smirking and Grayson started shaking their hands.
"Nice to see you all and I look forward to working with you!" I said putting on my most fakest smile and shaking Landons hand which he obviously felt sparks between us because he doesn't have a second chance mate to move on with. Then I continued to shake Britney's disgusting hand, she roughly pulled me close to her and spat,
"Landons mine stay the fuck away from him"
"Oh sweetie I could steal him if I tried and trust me I'm not going to. I have a second chance mate and I feel nothing towards Landon or you, I'm just here because it is my duty to protect and keep the peace." I spat back, pulling my hand away from hers and giving her a dirty look then grabbing Graysons hand in which Landon growled at and Grayson just gave him a weird look.
"May we please be shown to our room?" He asked
"You mean rooms plural?" Landon questioned while grinding his teeth
"Um no? My Luna and I share a room considering we are mates and she is marked" he said weirded out by Landons questions and then someone I definitely did not want to see stepped out of the crowd.
"I'll show you to your room"
