Dear journal,
All I've wrote are topics that can be emotional crippling. But what about all the good moments in life? What about all the small, wholesome moments life gives? There is never enough. The cry of a newborn babe, the simple but intimate act of hand holding, laughing with your loved ones, just being surrounded by family. There are never enough moments like that. But every time I do get a rare taste of being content and happy I think, let me stay here, in this perfect moment in time where my heart could burst and everything feels like it's okay. I cherish those moments. They never stay long and there's never enough of them. I think my most cherished moments are of laughing and realizing moments like those are rare. It's a funny feeling to realize things as they're happening. Or just talking. Just being peaceful and content. Peace and content.
