*Hey guys, since I've managed to finally update Wattpad, I can now show you how all the characters look. Here's a photo of Ella Glades. I'll be posting a pic of Ander in the next chapter ^~^ also Please take note that I will be indicating in each chapter which character is speaking. Ella Glades
Table 27... 23... 25...
Ella was wandering aimlessly amongst the cafeteria tables. She had promised Euri that she'd meet her at lunch break. She felt somewhat, desperate, to make a friend and meeting Euri would help rid her of that feeling.
Ella saw a bright blonde head nearby. She knew it was Euri when she saw the sign, 'Table 21' laying neatly on the table where the blonde was sitting. Ella didn't know what to say or do except stand there like a loner and hope to be seen. One of the guys sitting at the table saw her standing there and whispered something to Euri.
Euri spun her head around and after spotting Ella, waved her over to the table excitedly.
Ella slowly made her way to the group, weaving clumsily through the chairs and tables. She didn't have to say a word because the whole group was laughing loudly and cracking dirty jokes.
"Ella! You made it", Euri exclaimed loudly over all the chatter and laughter.
Ella replied with a soft croaky "hello", realizing how long it had been since she'd uttered a word.
Not paying attention to Ella's shyness, Euri shouted out loudly to her friends, "Ey guys, meet Ella, she's our new addition!"
Everyone turned to face her.
Ella looked at all the curious faces. There were 5 people, excluding Euri, sitting at the table, three guys and two girls.
"Wow Euri, what did you drag in?", said one of the guys sitting at the table rudely.
Ella glared at her insulter, letting anger get the better of her. "Excuse me?" She said in a high pitched tone.
"Don't be a douche bag Jason" Euri spoke up in Ella's defense.
Jason shifted his gaze to Euri, and then to Ella, before dragging his chair back loudly and leaving the table abruptly.
"What's his problem?", Ella asked, still feeling offended.
"Jason, doesn't really, like that we're friends with you" , said one of the dark-haired girls sitting next to the empty chair. "Come sit here" she waved Ella over.
Euri cleared her throat and shook off the seriousness. "So let me introduce you to the squad over here" she said playfully.
"Awww c'mon Eu, we discussed this!", said the dark-haired girl, "I'm supposed to introduce her to everyone!".
"What can I say, I'm a rebel", she said winking at everyone.
"So this is Amy" Euri continued, pointing to the dark-haired girl.
"Yeah my name might sound all cute and sweet, but it's just there as a veil to hide my inner bitchiness", Amy spoke up, laughing at herself.
"And this is Cyan", Euri went on.
"Like as in the-", Ella was about to ask.
"Colour? Yes", Cyan finished Ella's sentence. She must have been used to the question by now because she looked really bored.
Ignoring the silence that took over, Euri went on, "and this is Tristan and Kyle, you've met Jason already".
"Tristan is the one that looks like a homo and Kyle is the one who looks homophobic" she said giggling at the irony in what she just said.
"Euri for once you're wrong" Tristan argued, "you see I don't look like a homo, I am a homo", he laughed.
"Point made" she gave in and laughed.
The end of break bell rang, making Ella almost jump straight out of the chair.
"What got in your pants?" Amy asked, lifting an eyebrow.
"I did", Tristan said, impersonating a creepy nerd.
"Shut up Tris you're straighter than a rainbow" Amy teased him sarcastically.
The two were on a verge of debating the true meaning of Tristan's sexuality.
Ella couldn't help noticing the way Kyle was glaring at Euri.
She was pretty sure that Euri knew he was glaring at her because she refused to meet his gaze.
Kyle stood up abruptly, following Jason's earlier actions, except instead of leaving rudely he said goodbye to everyone and gave Ella a friendly nod before heading to his next class.
Everyone followed and left for their classes. Euri grabbed Ella's hand before she could head off to physics class.
"Thanks for hanging with us, come again tomorrow?" Euri asked with a hopeful grin on her face.
"They don't seem to like me," Ella replied
"They just need to warm up to you", she spoke with enthusiasm coursing through her voice.
"You're on our side Ella", Euri said softly so that only Ella could hear.
Before she could say anything back or ask what the hell that meant, Euri was gone.
She probably just meant that since they were now friends, Ella was automatically on her side.
Yeah, that's obviously what she meant.
