Part 34

"So how long has he been in there?" Sakura asked as she suddenly coma walking into the waiting room. 

Naruto has been waiting for Shi's operation to finish before he could go home. "I dont know a couple hours" Naruto said emotionless as he sat quietly on a chair. 

"Hours....if it's been more than 4 hours then it means that there were complications" Sakura said as she sat down next to Naruto. "Well the place was nearly set on fire" Naruto said while pointing to the scorch marks which exited out of the operation room. Sakura looked at them with a slight sweat drop. "How did i know something like that would of happened" 

She slowly turned her head back to Naruto who was staring at the ground. "Is something wrong?" Sakura asked softly. 

"I have been thinking if this operation goes through successfully that means the gap between me and Shi will widen even further. How will i ever catch up to that maniac" Naruto said with a loud sigh. 

This caused Sakura to giggle a bit. "I have had that problem before but ill tell you a way to get ahead of him" She said with a small smile. 

"How?"

"All you need to do is do something that Shi cant. No one is good at everything there must be something that you can do better than him" Sakura said as she looked at Naruto's shocked face. 

"But what do i have that Shi can never do?" Naruto asked curiously. "That you have to figure out yourself. Anyway i need to go i have an operation to do" Sakura said as she walked away. 

Suddenly the doors of the operation room got flung open. Naruto bolted off his chair quickly to see if Shi was done. As suspected Shi was laying on a bed with bandages around his eyes. "How was the operation?" Naruto asked as Tsunade stepped out of the room. Her cloths were scorched and ash covered her face. 

"It went well i just say this now. I never want to operate on him again" Tsunade said as she wiped off some ash off her face. 

"Why is that?" 

"As soon as we did the first incision his body went into a defense mode and set itself on fire. Good thing we prepared for this but still its annoying to work on someone who is on fire" Tsunade said as she walked away. "Shi will be in room 304 you can be there with him but only specified people can enter" Tsunade said while walking away.
