Soft winds blew gently over Konoha as the busy village started walking up. Shi on the other hand has been awake all night. He was laying against the cherry blossom tree with Hita who was laying with her head on his chest.

Both were only covered with the thin blanket Hita brought, there cloths were scattered over the area.

"So what have you been doing?" Shi asked softly as he looked down at Hita, the girl was pushing herself closer to Shi for more warmth.

"A-after you rescued me, D-donzo has not tried anything so I-I have been at home, helping a-around the compound" Hita said tiredly.

A small nod came from Shi as he looked back at he horizon .The cherry blossom always had a great view of the sunrise.

"P-please tell me you won't disappear again?" Hita said as she moved her head slightly up to look at Shi.

"Honestly I can't promise you that I won't go anywhere but for now I think I'll be in the village for a while. Maybe I'll find a real place to stay" Shi said as he still stared at the sunrise.

"But I thought you and your brother had a apartment?" Hita said with slight confusion.

"We did but since no one lived in it for years, it was sold so you can say I am homeless" Shi said with a slight laugh.

Hita stared blankly at him as she stood up, pulling the blanket up with her to cover her naked body.

Shi quickly covered himself from the cold breeze since he felt the sudden wind.

"Then w-why not s-stay with me?" Hita asked as she made her way towards her pants which were a few feet away.

"But don't you live with your parents?" Shi asked as he quickly ran across the area, gathering all his cloths in an instant.

A short silence filled the area as the two put on there cloths. "My father is dead" Hita said after a while.

"And your mother?"

"Don't know....she disappeard a year or so ago....s-so it's only me and m-my brother" Hita said as she grabbed Shi's arm, locking hers into his.

"But I-I won't allow y-you to live o-on the streets."Hita said looking up at Shi and giving him a closed eye smile.

"But I have the cherry blossom tree. I stayed there for years" Shi said as he looked back at the tree.

"We can still hang out there but if you and u are going to b-be...lovers...I want you to be s-safe from the harse elements" Hita said as a large blush formed across her face.

A similar blush crossed Shi's face as he slowly unlocked his arm from Hita.

"If you insist I stay with you the. I need to go get something" Shi said as he dispersed and reappeard in front of the tree.

He moved his hand to a loose piece of bark, moving it out the way before taking out a small box that was inside it.

"Thank goodness your still here" Shi said as he looked down and smiled at the thing.

"You c-coming?" Hita yelled from across the clearing.

Shi quickly slipped the box into his pouch before shouting back. "Be right there."

For one last time he looked back at the tree, placing his hand onto it. "Thank you for protecting us for all these years" Shi said before he dispersed into ash.
