Theo grunted as he struggled to carry his heavy over-night bag. "A little help would have been nice," He scowled at his brother who followed behind him leisurely.

"Sorry, I'd help but Bia wanted to hold my hand," Franky grinned back. Bia gave the blonde an innocent smile as they stepped in front of Midtown High. "You're a bloody twat, you know that?" Theo scowled, using his powers to alter the bag's density, making it lighter.

"Hey, Theo's here!" His teammate, Abe, waved him over. Half of the team already stood in front of the yellow school bus, all wearing their equally yellow decathlon blazers. He was glad that as the first alternate, he wasn't forced to wear one.

"Good morning!" Mr. Harrington greeted, stepping out from inside the bus. He sounded even more tired than usual, but rather cheerful nonetheless. "Who do we have here?" He asked, pointing towards the Franky and Bia behind him.

"Oh, everyone," Theo nudged them forward, "these are my siblings. They just wanted to say bye at the bus. This tall lad is Franklin, and this one in the ugly pajamas is Bianca."

Bia attempted to purple nurple him, but he quickly curved his body to dodge. "I didn't even know you had siblings, Theo," Liz commented as everyone nodded in agreement.

"What the hell, man? You didn't tell them about us?" Franky feigned a hurt expression. Great, now even his siblings were jumping in on it. Theo sent him a glare and opened his mouth to speak, but was interrupted by the screech of loud car tires.

Everyone looked up to see a silver Audi swerve into the parking lot and stop right in front of the school bus. Theo rolled his eyes at the sight Flash Thompson and another man, seemingly his father, seated in the vehicle. Flash strode out of the passenger side, swinging his yellow blazer over his shoulder almost smugly as he slammed the door shut.

"Eugene! What the hell did I tell you about slamming the goddamn door!? I'm not paying for it if it breaks!" The teen flinched as the man yelled at him, not seeming to care that they were both under the stares of about seven other people.

"I'm sorry dad, sorry, I won't do it again," It was almost comical how timid Flash suddenly became. He pulled his suitcase out from the back seat and sent a small wave to his father as he sped away.

"Hey, Eugene," Theo grinned as Flash approached them, his head lowered, "ready for Nationals?"

"Shut up, Clarke," He scowled, walking towards the back of the group and away from their prying eyes. The whole team had finally arrived after twenty more minutes including MJ, Cindy Moon, Tyler, and Ned. Franky and Bia greeted Ned warmly, even complimenting the boy's bucket hat. He beamed pridefully and opened up his suitcase to reveal his assortment of other hats for every possible occasion.

"Okay, everybody! We're leaving in exactly ten minutes so use the bathroom now, alright? We're gonna try not to make any stops!" Mr. Harrington announced to his students. Some jogged up the steps and into the building as the rest waited outside of the bus.
