The Devils Son: Afterlife

12. Progress

He walks out of the cell and motions for me to go ahead of him. I do.

We start walking down the long hallway to the door when I notice Luke isn't coming?

"What about Luke?" I ask turning back around to Levi who is close behind me.

"He is fine here, I have to show you something first" he says ushering me forwards towards the door again.

I hesitantly follow along but I have this underlying fear he's just lying to me so he doesn't have to get me out of here kicking and scratching.

We walk out of the door and it leads to an immediate drop off. There are doors that go around in a circle just like the one we came from, floors seem to go forever up and down. What is this place?

Levi grabs my side and pulls me along away from the drop off around to a door that is slightly different. When we enter it is a small room, I walk across the the opposite side from him and watch as he selects a button by the door. Suddenly the room starts propelling upwards and I immediately know it's an elevator.

"An elevator in Hell?" I ask looking at him like it's a joke

He just grins and looks down at the ground before shaking his head.

"What" I say staring at him confused.

"Nothing" he says still grinning.

   We reach what I can only assume is the top floor as the doors open on the opposite side, to a short tunnel.

He leans off the wall and carefully guides me out of the tunnel as it opens up to Hell. As far as I can see there is rock and fire everywhere. I look up at the sky but there isn't one. There is caves and fires everywhere, it must be the walls of hell? I look back down and there is Demons EVERYWHERE

  I stop in my tracks out of shock when I see them. Fuck. Levi looks over at me with concern until he realizes what I'm looking at.

  "They won't hurt you, not with me" he says, I hesitantly start walking again with him

  Suddenly he stops and starts to undo his shirt?

  "What are you doing?" I say watching him

  "Don't want to wreck my shirt" he says as he undoes the last button and slides off his shirt revealing his perfectly shaped body, he has the figure of a Greek god, holy shit. I immediately look away after I realize I'm staring. Shit.

   Suddenly he moves and when I look up he has massive black wings coming from his back? I've never seen black wings?

   He begins to move towards me and I realize he's about to pick me up? Oh hell no!

  "Yah I'll be good" I say stepping away and bringing out my own wings. Mine are small in comparison to his, I watch as he stares at them with a grin on his face. He reaches out to touch my wing but I jerk back before he can. Keep your hands to yourself buster.

  "Beautiful" I hear him say under his breath. He jumps suddenly and he's off the ground waiting for me, I follow suit.

  He begins flying in the distance and I follow, I suppose now would be an opportunity to get away but where would I go, I don't know where anything is and without Levi I'm pretty sure the Demons would kill me. I look down as we fly and almost all the Demons below us look up and stare at me.

  After a while Levi starts to slow down as we come up on the entrance to a cave. He lands and I follow right behind, I could've landed a little more gracefully but I'm happy I stuck it to begin with.
