  "My brother told me-" I start but he already shakes his head and looks down at the water.

  "What?" I say confused

  "Nothing, I just should've known" he says after a moment

  "What does that mean?" I say confused

  "He always hated me, I'm not surprised. Continue" he says

  "Alright.. he said you manipulated me and would use your mind control on me to make me love you" I say

   Levi laughs to himself and shakes his head while looking down at the water, why is that funny?

   "Levi why does my brother hate you?" I say finally. He looks up at me then back down at the water and after a moment he finally starts.

  "Shortly after we where engaged you found out that your brother survived the accident that killed you and your father, you new he was an atheist and you where determined to convert him so he would have a chance at heaven. You demanded to see him and against my better judgment we went to canada to see him" he says never looking up at me, just staring down at the water.

  "He tried to kill both of us, he was scared of me after you told him what I was and I can't even blame him honestly. It was when he found out we where engaged is when I think he really hated me. Anyways when we where leaving I needed to compel him not to share the information we shared with him to anyone and that's clearly where he came up with this theory that I was forcing you to love me"

  "When I became an angel they told me only extraordinary humans, humans who devoting their life to something or changed others lives around you significantly for the better got to be angels and Chris's theory is they gave me wings for putting up with you" I say and he nods to himself. "Why else would I have wings?" I say confused

"I don't know, maybe it is true maybe that's why you have them" he says looking up at me. "I don't know". I feel honestly like he's telling the truth, it's something about him I trust.

"Your father told me you killed your self after I died?" I say changing the subject

"Only one of our kind can kill us, I'd rather be the one to kill myself than give some angel that title" he says simply.

"Why did you do it?"

  "I made a deal with god" he says looking up at me

  "What deal?" I say slowly moving closer

  "You where granted another life on earth, threat free from god and his angels-"

  "Threat free?" I say suddenly confused

  "They where trying to send you back to hell, they found you and attacked you several times, they almost succeeded too" he says

  "Anyways, in return for that second threat free existence they wanted my death" he says

"Why?"

  "I'm an abomination, I was never supposed to exist, I'm too powerful obviously for them, and now I'm truly immortal on top of everything so I'm sure he's not happy with that either" he says shaking his head

  "You killed yourself for me?" I say and for the first time really truly realizing just how much he loved me. He was willing to die for me.

  "You shouldn't have died and went to hell in the first place, you never should've been there" he says now locking eyes with me

  "I loved you Charolette, I still do, I don't think the day will come where I don't" he says and I feel the atmosphere changing.

  "I wish I could remember" I say as I suddenly realize I'm crying? after just seconds I can feel the tears just streaming down my face.

  Levi moves across the small pool and grabs my hand before pulling me over towards him as he pulls me up into his arms he holds me against him as I cry. I hear him whisper to me it will be alright and it doesn't matter as he rubs my back.

    I probably sat there crying into the crook of his neck for about 4 or 5 minutes when I finally was able to stop. I just find myself laying against him as I feel him softly rub small circles into my shoulder with his thumb as he holds me.

   "You don't have to remember the past, I can do that for both of us. We have now and that's what's important" he says after a while.

  "What if I'm not the same" I say leaning off him and looking at him as I sit in his lap

  "You are the same" he says grinning.

  "What did you love most about me" I say looking down at my hands in the water.

  "You made me a better person" he says almost immediately.I look back up and he's completely serious. The though makes me smile that I made the Devils son a better person.

  "Tell me more about myself" I say now moving around so I'm straddling him. "I feel like with no memories I don't even know who I am"

  "You loved kids and babysat and worked at a daycare" he says smiling. "You loved art and would paint up in your art room all day" he says and I can feel as he rest his hands on my hips under the water.

  "Your favourite sex position was-" he says grinning and I immediately shoot my hands up and cover his mouth as he laughs to himself.

  "Your gross" I say as I try to move off him but he holds me in place. I feel the atmosphere change again and my heart starts pounding.

  His right hand slides off my hip and up out of the water as he rests it against my cheek. I watch, frozen, as he suddenly starts to lean forward. Holy shit. It's dark now and the only light I can see is the tea lights along the pool, I can barely make out his face.

   He stops just inches from my face and all I want is for him to kiss me, I never would've thought I'd want this but I do. Seconds feel like minutes and my impatience washes over me and I find myself leaning forward and kissing him? Almost immediately he takes charge and starts kissing me hard and I run my hand up against his chest and around his neck pulling him closer.

   "Fuck" I hear him groan against my lips as he pulls me closer towards him so we are now chest to chest.

  He then slowly moves from my mouth down to my jaw then to my neck. I play with his hair and a moan escapes my lips and I feel him squeeze my ass tighter. He suddenly stops and stands up while holding me so my legs are wrapped around his waist. Next thing I know his wings are out and just as I start to feel cold Levi's skin goes warm under me. It doesn't take long before Levi has us up in the air and flying back down the mountain to the house.
