28. Retreat 

I ran tell my lungs hurt and the ground turned to grass as I ripped through a tunnel and towards a gate before quickly opening it and running to the side of the well? What am I doing here why did I take myself here?!

  "CHAROLETTE" I hear multiple people yelling from the tunnel as the run towards me. Fuck.  In a split second decision I immediately jump over the ledge and into the tunnel only thinking about Levi.

In seconds I find myself hitting the ground harder than I expected and when I look around I'm in the middle of the forest?!

  I quickly stand and bring my wings out before flying up out of the trees when I see the house and quickly fly towards it when suddenly I feel something grab me and drag me down to a crash landing in the gravel drive way infront of the house.

"LEVI" I scream and when I spin around Luke is on top of me as he grabs me quickly and starts to pull me back towards the tree line as I kick and thrash trying to get away from him.

  "LEVI" I scream again and this time Luke goes down in pain and lets go of me and in seconds Levi is beside me grabbing me and pulling me up beside him. Shit

  "Are you okay" he says pulling me into him holding me tightly.

  "Don't let them take me" I cry into him when suddenly multiple other angels from the meeting room appear in the tree line and Levi quickly places me behind him.

  We start to back away towards the house when I realize they are all here?! All of them?! I can't believe I'm here.

  Suddenly Levi's veins start to glow red and almost all of them fall to the ground in pain. Only  to follow by seconds later most of them start to stand again and Levi starts to scream as all the veins on his body are vibrantly glowing red, lighting him up like I've never seen before, he looks radioactive.

  I watch as they all start to fall to the ground again not able to take it. He's taking on 12 different angels by himself and I feel useless. I rest my hand on his arm and start to heal him and with that he starts to glow brighter and his power grows stronger. Moments later the angels start to regain their strength again, it's pointless he can't take down 12 angels like this.

"Hold on" Levi says grabbing my hand and his veins start to go red and seconds later everything feels like a vortex as a blinding light takes over forcing me to close my eyes.

In seconds I feel my side hit the ground followed by Levi letting out a groan beside me. I open my eyes to find we are in hell?

I sit up and look around as we appear to be on a cliff looking out into hell and when I turn my head around I see we are in Levi's room?

"Are you okay" Levi says immediately coming over to me and pulling me up to my feet before pulling me in tightly.

"I don't know" I say trying to understand what just happened. I'm in hell. We escaped gods disciples and are finding safety in the last place on earth I'd expect to feel safest.

"What happened" he says pressing for answers

"I'm pregnant" I say looking up at him. I can't think of anything else to say really.

"What?" He says confused "we have to get ri-"

"No" I say cutting him off and stepping away from him

"What did they say to you" he says looking at me confused

"Everything that's ever happened between me and you has been part of gods plan" I say starting to cry as it starts to set in

"What?" He says stepping towards me

  "They want our child to kill you, it's the only person who will be able to kill you" I cry and he just keeps holding me tightly.

  "Charolette we have to get ri-"

  "No, Levi I'm not getting rid of it, the only thing I ever wanted was a child you know that" I say crying as I push away from him again.

  "You can have a child just not my child, it's too dangerous" he says with wet eyes as he's clearly crying aswell. My heart breaks at the sight, I hate seeing him like this.

  "I can't Levi you know I can't" I say. Im not budging on this one.

  "We don't even know if you can carry it, what if it kills you" he says stepping towards me

  "I don't know" I say tears streaming down my face

  "No, I'm not losing you, I can't do that again. I'm not strong enough Charolette I can't" he says now tears streaming down his face.

  "Your not going to lose me" I say and his veins start to glow red as he runs his hand through his hair before quickly punching the solid rock wall behind him, leaving a massive crack that split through the entire wall. Shit.

  A moment of silence follows before he suddenly starts walking out to the opening before his wings appear and he flys away? Where the fuck is he going?! I run out to the ledge and watch as he flys down towards the massive hole that goes deep into the ground with all the cells? What is he doing? Is he going to torture people?!

  I start to feel sick to my stomach and seconds later I find myself puking over the ledge down the cliff. Fuck.
