  Calum's POV

I ran down the stairs, sat against the wall, and cried. I didn't mean to say what I said. I wish my brain was faster than my mouth. I couldn't go back to anyone now! Ashton probably hated my guts, and Luke probably didn't even want me in the band anymore. Ugh! What the fuck did I just do?

I decided it'd be best if I broke things off with Josh. I mean, since we got back together, it seemed like all he wanted was sex. I knew there was something I wanted to get away from, I just... I was lonely and vulnerable. I just wanted comfort. I mean, people make pretty dumb choices when they're in desperate need of comfort.

I called him up, and asked him to meet me at the park, where I asked him to get back with me. He agreed and I walked and waited. "What's the matter babe?" He asked. "Nothing, I just think that-" "That what? You wanna be with that curly haired freak?" he hissed. "He's not a freak. And no, I don't. I just... Ithinkweshouldbreakup." He looked at me like I threw a dead fish at him.

"Break up? We just got back together, make up your damn mind Hood!" he shouted. "Please don't yell. I hate it when people yell at me. Look, I know Josh, its just.... We're going on tour, and I don't want you to feel pressure to stay away from guys. I know how you are and...." I didn't know what else to say.

Josh sighed. "Fine. Whatever you want," he said. "Okay." He nodded and walked off. "You know, I didn't really think that would be a reason you wanted to break up with me," he smirked. "What do you mean?" I asked. He chuckled. "I have a boyfriend, but he's really shy and all and doesn't want to have sex. So basically, you've been nothing but a fuck buddy. Thanks Hood," he finished.

I couldn't believe he just said that aloud. I walked back to the units, like his rude confession didn't bother me, and flipped him off. I sat outside the my unit and slept against the wall."Calum?" Luke said, closing the door behind him. I rubbed my eyes. "How long have you been out here?" he asked. "All night," I croaked. "What happened? Where did you go? I was worried," he said, helping me up.

"I was scared you guys were mad at me, so I didn't wanna go inside," I admit. Luke gives me a side smile. "Calum, you're my best friend, I could never stay mad at you for long. You could've come inside," he says. "I told Josh," I blurted. "What did he say?" "He didn't care. He said that he had a boyfriend, but didn't want to screw him, so he got back with me just so he could have sex," I said. Luke's eyes widened.

"Some prick, huh," he said. I nodded and went inside to eat. He poured the bland cereal into a bowl and handed it to me along with an almost empty carton of milk. I just ate silently and watched the TV through the ever swinging kitchen door. I sighed. "How much longer until we leave this stupid town?" I asked. "Just a few more day Calum."

"Hey Michael, can you do me a huge favor?" I asked. "Yeah sure, what's up?" I swallowed my pride harshly. "I need to talk to Ashton. Do you think you could maybe... Get him to talk to me again?"
