Before the Florpus.Dibs' Perspective.
Ever since Zim landed on Earth five years ago and had continuously failed to invade it, I have wondered why the aliens' leaders even sent him. He wouldn't quit with his dumb ideas that I could so easily defeat. Years of dealing with Zim. Watching him. Taking notes. Foiling his rushed and sloppy plans.
Lately, my self-designated task has been trying to tap into the same radio frequency from long ago when I first discovered that Zim was even coming. It was in hopes to find any new information that could assist in stopping him once and for all and knowing why the Irken leaders sent him to my planet.
Fine tuning the frequency while sitting on the rooftop my home, I adjust the headphones planted over my ears.
Static.
About to give up and stop searching for the night after hours of failed attempts, I was about to stand. But suddenly there was a connection. Was it the green aliens' leaders? I was going to find out.
"My Tallest! I haven't much to update about my status about invading this filthy planet, but I assure you I have a brilliant plan in store for this disgusting place!"
'Zim? I must've tapped into his feed.' I thought to myself. 'Nonetheless, I'll use this crutch to my advantage and tether to his leaders' line when they disconnect.' I quickly hit the 'record' button on my computer to guarantee I would have this conversation saved.
"Yeah, uh, sure Zim. Just.. keep doing whatever it is that you're doing. We trust whatever plans you have." A low but more natural voice responded to Zim, moments later there was muffled laughter from him and another.
"Mhm! Do your normal thing, Zim!" Another with a slightly higher pitched voice agreed with the first. More muffled laughter. These voices were the same ones from that transmission all that time ago.
Zim spoke again after the sounds from his leaders ceased, his tone stiff and more serious than my ears have ever heard, yet there was subtle excitement in the way he spoke. "Yes! Of course, my Tallest! You will be so proud! Invader Zim, out!"
Suddenly, there was more static.
In a panic, my fingers typed away at my keyboard to quickly relocate the signal and reach the "Tallest" as Zim calls them. Seconds pass, and my computer was able to gain access to the coms of the leaders and be able to hear them.
"Phew. I'm glad that call was short! Now where's the donuts, Red?!" The higher pitched voice cooed.
The other leader scoffed, ignoring the firsts' question. "You know, I still can't believe we screwed up with erasing his Pak. It was our first act as the new Tallest and all we did was make Zim even more dangerous, Purple. We're lucky that we even erased enough memories to leave him submissive to us and that he still believes he's on a real mission."
'Purple? Red? Is that their names? Interesting..' I take mental note of this, before continuing to eavesdrop. 'They think Zim is dangerous? He's more of a nuisance, than anything.. but what are they even talking about? They took Zims' memories?'
"Come on, don't worry! Zim's millions of galaxies away from Irk and the Irken Armada. We did enough to his Pak, anyways! And there's no way he'll leave that rock he's on! What's it even called..? Eh, who cares! Now seriously, where are the donuts?!" The one I presume is 'Purple' retorted.
A brief crinkle that sounded like a bag emerged, presumably the one Irken leader receiving their donuts, before the conversation continued with the other speaking now.
"Yeah, I guess you've got a point. But let's not forget the first Opperation Impending Doom, Purple. And what Zim tried to do. It's still a disgrace.."
"Riiiight.. I still can't believe he tried to blame the Tallest Miyuki for it! We all know it was his idea to—"
The coms suddenly went static again, and I wasn't able to regain signal.
"His idea to what?!" I glare at my radio and smack it as if that would give me access to the leaders again, but it was more-so out of frustration.
'What was Zims' idea? What did he do in the first Impending Doom? Who was this Miyuki? Why are his leaders both threatened and appalled by Zim? What memories did they take? Years of studying that alien and there's still much I don't know..'

After The Florpus.
The transmission that I was able to record of Zims' "Tallest" was three months ago. I've studied their conversation countless times, but it still doesn't add up.
After that last call Zim made to his leaders, he went missing over the summer. Right before our senior year was supposed to start.
It was all part of his grand plan.
To enter the Florpus, that is.
So much happened in that time. Zim teleported our planet to another galaxy, and nearly got everyone killed in the process. The worlds' leaders have all claimed the whole ordeal to be a "widely spread virus that caused drastically similar hallucinations" in the midst of a global "natural disaster epidemic" and so nobody believes we were actually almost annihilated by both aliens and a tear in the universe. All of the buildings left in piles of rubble? Caused by earthquakes. Everyone who saw the sky turn red and a big army of ships almost shoot at us? Just a hallucinogenic illness.
Even my own father acts like the whole ordeal wasn't real. I'm still the only person who knows the truth about Zim and that we were nearly killed because of him.
After that whole Florpus incident, Zim disappeared again for the last few weeks of summer. Nowhere to be seen. His base was still here, however it began to look unmanaged and abandoned.
But now, school was going to start again. It was one of the first things rebuilt after what happened. The other kids were all disappointed, but I wasn't.
Was Zim going to show up for senior year? Was he plotting another scheme to take over earth?
Or has he left my home world, possibly for good?
Part of me is afraid to find out.
