Zims' Perspective.

The Dib needed time to decide if working with me was beneficial for him. I was very frustrated that I had to put my plans on hold for his indecisive human brain, but he gave me a date that he would have the answer by.

This Halloween Dance. A glorified Earth holiday where humans pretend to be something they are clearly not. I don't see the purpose of it, but if by going to the dance for this holiday will make the human come to a decision, then I'll go.

It has been painful to pretend to hate my Tallest. When I see the Dib, I still have high hopes that my leaders will give me all the gratitude I deserve once I show them that I can conquer this planet before their arrival since their course has changed.

I sit by myself at lunch, hissing at the food substance they feed these humans. "Disgusting.."

Surprisingly, the Dib walks over and sits across from me. Why was he here?

"Who gave you permission to sit with me?"

"I did." He smirks. I hate when he does that. "You want me to really consider working with you? I cant just not sit with you."

"Tch.. whatever, Dib-Stink." I look away with a low growl.

Pretending to want to work with this low-life of a human was torture. Pretending to hate my Tallests was torture. All of this was torture.

But it would be worth it in the end.

"So, Zim. I was thinking.." the Dib-Thing started to talk, interrupting my thoughts.

I look over at him confused and annoyed, waiting for him to continue. "And?"

"Well, for the Halloween Dance, you have to wear a costume."

"What?"

"Uh.. you know, dress up?"

"Tch. Why should Zim partake in the dressing up of this stupid dance?"

"Because it's mandatory for the dance!"

"Wait—Zim has to wear a pathetic costume or else he can't go?!" I panic now. If I didn't go, then Dib wouldn't agree to work with me. And if Dib didn't agree to work with me, then I would have no human-filth to motivate me for my real plans.

"Err.. yes..?" He sounds like he's lying, but I can't risk my plan backfiring.

"Ugh, FINE! I will go to this STUPID dance in a FILTHY COSTUME!" I yell, not caring that other students were now looking at us.

"Dude, calm down." The Dib smiles, I hiss in response to it.

"Do not tell Zim to calm down! YOU calm down!" I point accusingly at him, narrowing my eyes again.

"So dramatic.." I hear him mutter, to which I choose to ignore.

The end of the day finally came. I leave the wretched building and cross my arms, having forgotten for the third time in a row to bathe in paste. This time it isn't snowing though, so all I have to do is avoid the puddles.

I start my walk home, but the Dib appears at my side. "Zim—!"

"Rrgh.. Why are you so glued to me?! You are becoming as bad as Keef was!"

"I just have a few questions that'll help me come to my decision!" He already had his stupid journal out, ready to write down any new information to his dumb ears.
