Dibs' Perspective.

"Zim?!" I jump off of Taks' ship and run over to the alien that suddenly fell unconscious in my yard. There was a lemon-yellow liquid seeping through his uniform, I could only assume it was his blood. "Shit!" I cover the ship that lay in my yard with some tarp before swiftly picking Zim up in my arms. Using my trenchcoat to cover his antennas and also to soak up as much of the alien blood as I possibly could, I sprint to his base.

"Maybe Gir will know what to do! Or—Or Zim's Computer!"

I don't care that my breath is inconsistent with each gasp for air, I still continue down the street until kicking the Irkens' front door open.

"Gir! Gir?! Where are you?!"

"The broken Sir Unit left the premises an hour ago to retrieve some items."

"Oh—Computer! Uh—Zim got hurt! What can I do to help him?!" I look up at the ceiling where the voice came from while still panting, but being stubborn and refusing to put Zims' body down to catch my breath. Something lowers from the tangled wires and machinery above and scans both Zim and I with a purple laser, before retreating back into the ceiling.

"Master Zims' organic body has inflicted a fatal injury. His PAK has initiated cell-replacement enhancement protocol, forcing his body into a state of unconsciousness while it heals at a faster rate. He will remain unconscious until the wound is considered to be non-life threatening."

"Oh—uh—If I stitch the wound, will—will that help at all?"

"The inflicted damage can heal on its own but if you wish to speed the process of healing, then yes."

I'm relieved to know Zim would be okay, but why did I react like this in the first place? We're not even friends. Shaking my head side to side, I ignore my thoughts for now. Zim's my partner at the moment and we don't have time for him to be unconscious for who knows how long.

I walk to the back of Zims' base and hold his body as close to mine as possible so we could go down the trash shoot together. Once down in his lab, I free one of my arms and push a bunch of crumpled blueprints off of a long table and lay Zims' body over it.

"He probably doesn't have a need for a first aid kit so I guess there wouldn't be one here.."

Based off of the Computers' explaining, I was comfortable leaving Zim alone for a bit while I ran back home to get some things and push Taks' ship back into my garage.

Taking one last glance at the unconscious Irken, I step into the elevator to return back up.

"I just can't believe he saved my life.."

It took me awhile to get everything done that I needed to, but I was eventually able to come back to the Irken base and return down to the lab. Having clean unbloodied clothes to change into later along with medical supplies all shoves in my briefcase that was in hand as I came back down, I saw Zim hadn't moved a muscle from how I left him.

"Is he even aware of what's going on? Like..coma patients?" Shrugging off the question and walking over to the body, I place my bag down by his head and open it up to reveal the medical items I brought with. I take out my spare clothes and set them aside, figuring it would be easier to change later on after Zim was taken care of.

Putting two latex gloves on, I stare at Zim hesitantly. This felt like I was about to dissect him, and for some reason the thought of doing so disgusted me now. Shuddering at the idea, I grab some scissors and cut Zims' uniform top up the center of it so I can see the skin underneath.
