Zims' Perspective."ME?! WANT TO MATE WITH THE DIB FOR LIFE?!" I gag at the mere thought of this. This had to be a mistake. It started to make me worry that if he touched my antennas, I'd find out if this was true. "NO!"
I couldn't bare to read any further. Luckily, I didn't have to. It was already the next morning and time to go to school. I rush away from the computers that held my species' historical information. This was overwhelming.
"What if it is true?! Err—that doesn't matter! I'm an invader! This won't affect me! It's just my BODY that wants the Dib! Not ME! Besides, he will NEVER touch my antennas! Therefore, I'll never have to know if it's true!"
I'm desperately trying to reason with my new discoveries. It couldn't be right. My antennas, my spooch, the dance. Maybe I was just getting too nervous about my plan to earn back the respect from my leaders that it was affecting me in this form.
"Yes! That must be it! I am just stressed!" I sigh with relief when I justify these unnecessary feelings and actions that have happened.
Making way to school after applying my usual disguise, I start to walk past the Dibs' house but my arm his grabbed.
"Unhand me, you filthy human—!" I hiss without even waiting to know who took hold of me.
"It's just me, Zim." I hear the Dibs' voice.
My head turns to him and I narrow my eyes, trying not to think about the research I had recently done. "Let. Go."
He complied and let go of my arm. "I was thinking we could just stay home from school today and focus on discussing everything!"
"Ergh.. Fine. Come with me to my base."
"Wouldn't it just be easier to come into my house and we just talk here?"
"Err—no—definitely not." I didn't want to set foot in that home of his at the moment. Not with what I just recently discovered.
He ignored my objections though and started back toward his home. "Come on! Does it really matter where we are right now?!"
"Y—Yes! It does, Dib-Stink!" I growl with frustration that he was ignoring me, but I decide to follow him into his home.
Once we were inside, the Dibs' father walked out of another room, tinkering with a membracelet. "Ah, son. I thought you were going to school?"
I notice that my nemesis was abruptly stiff with his posture now, causing me to raise a brow.
"Uh, I'm—not feeling well. Neither is Zim. So—we're just—going to go be sick and miserable in my room!" He grabs my arm and started gently pulling me, I feel my spooch twist at his touch.
'It's happening again...remind yourself Zim, it is STRESS!' I reason with my experiences while following the Dib, staring at his parental unit in confusion.
He doesn't even look up from the bracelet in his hands. "Oh—alright, son! Have fun with your little green friend!"
Before I know it, we're already up the stairs and inside the humans' quarters.
"..phew.." I watch him sigh in relief. Any other time, the Dib would've been trying to rip off my wig to prove I was an alien to that parent of his. He notices my staring and smiles awkwardly, pulling his hand back to finally let go of me. "Sorry about that."
"Err.." I don't even respond. Instead, my eyes veer away. "Whatever."
He chuckles stiffly before going to clean off his desk, organizing all the papers about me into one neater pile. "So, about this plan.. what do you have in mind?"
