Chapter 37 - Aftermath: Naruto and Hinata

Naruto was currently making his way back home. He had to run several errands today and he had just finished running his last one.

After he had left the Hokage's office, he had left and seemed to wonder about aimlessly like his happy-go-lucky self usually would. After running through the streets for a while, Naruto turned into a dark alley way when he made sure no one was looking and sensed no other chakra presences. He quickly transformed into a random chunnin before stealthily making his way back out into the street.

He had needed to get more supplies for house and had to make serveral stops before he could truly retire for the night. The first place he went was the weapons store. He had needed to get some more shuriken, kunai, and smoke bombs. He brought explosive tags only to keep up the looks. He was a seal master of his own and could create such tags on the fly. He also brought chakra wire, senbon needles, ink, and sealing kits. Those were for his individual practices of course.

Once he got what he needed from the weapons store, he left and shunshin'd to his home to put everything away. After this, he shunshin'd from his home and headed towards the supply store. He needed to get everything he needed for his future pranks. After all, he was still the #1 Prankster King of Konoha. All he needed was to make the plans and layout for his pranks and he would be ready.

Naruto's third stop was the grocery store. He needed to get some more vegetable, fruit, eggs, milk, flour, and non-perishables to put in his kitchen. He would stack up on ramen just for looks and appearances. Instant ramen was also convenient so they came in handy on missions. Once he was done with getting his grocery, he shunshin'd back home to put the grocery away.

After grocery shopping, Naruto made his way to hardware store, still transformed as a chunnin. He had decided to put a greenhouse on his small terrace to his room. It would do greatly for the plants he wanted to grow and would keep ninja from using his terrace as a snooping spot.

After dropping off the parts of the greenhouse home, he went to the Flower shop to by seeds, soil, and pots. He was glad he decided to stay transformed. The Yamanaka clan head was at the counter today and he really didn't feel like making conversation with the blonde. He took everything back home and decided to set both the greenhouse parts, seeds, and pots in his room. He would place the bags of soil in the living room for now.

His next stop was the bookstore. Still transformed, he entered into the store and looked around the shelves. He decided that he had wanted to look more into medical ninjutsu, seeing that his future self grew to be talented in it. He also knew the possibilities of seals and knew that seals could bring many medical breakthroughs in the field, meaning more money for him.

He also picked up more books on fuinjutsu, history, laws, and chakra theory. While he was already a seal master, Naruto liked to refresh himself on the subject. He also knew how strong the most basic seal could be if the right touches are added to it. Last but not least, he brought the next series of his godfather's Icha Icha collection.

Many would say that Naruto was a closet pervert, but Naruto would just tell you its human research. How else would he know his ways around a woman's body or know how to properly seduce someone. There were many mission where Naruto had to infiltrate places as an undercover ANBU operative and seduce people to get certain information. The Art of Seduction is usually a kunoichi's field, however, there are many ways to put such a skill to good use.

After he gather all the books he needed, he went to front counter and paid for it. He saw the slight frown the cashier gave him when she saw he had a collection of Icha Icha in the bunch, but he didn't care. He had nothing to hide. Except for his true identity, of course.

Once the books were placed in their designated spots in his home, Naruto shunshin'd from his house for the seventh time today and appeared back in a dark alley. He quickly dropped his transformation and reverted back to original state. He successfully made his way back into the streets of Konoha without raising any suspicions.
