The gym has it upsides and downsides. The upsides is you get to workout, try different machines, and get fit. The downsides were the idiotic annoying people at the gym and the people who hog the machines. Since Luke was out somewhere today, I decided to get a workout in since I've been lazy. The 3 hours was cut to an hour considering I was close to pushing the guy off the machine and down the stairs though.. Laughing to myself at the thought, I grabbed my bag off the bench and headed out. With my phone in my hand I checked to see anymore texts from Luke..
Puke: jeez calumps don't kill anyone. last thing I need to worry about is hiding a body... Haha. But since ur done, meet at the tea shop?
I rolled my eyes at the mention of the tea shop:
Palum: sure whatever hemmdick. Be there in 10.
Finishing my reply I shoved my phone into my pocket. I was barely 5 inches away from the gym's entrance when someone ran into me from the side.. Again. Groaning I slowly turned around as my words already left my mouth. "Why don't you watch where the hell you're walking. Huh?!"
"Well isn't that a familiar voice with a familiar sentence?" Looking down I saw Lenia with a questionable expression. Thought I'd see her at the Tea Shop, but instead she was here.
"Why can't you ever watch where you're going?" I asked as other people began to walk past or around us. I hated when people would run into me. "Well I do watch where I'm going! It's just tall people like you who don't or don't see me," she replied seeming annoyed. Seeing from her height she must have that problem a lot. She probably needed help reaching things in high places for everything.
"Well not sorry short stack. You haven't reached your growth spurt yet?" I retorted back as I tried to hide my smile. Annoying people was fun to me, but them annoying me wasn't. "I never hit one! Doc said I'm not growing anymore. Shut the hell up!" She spat as she flipped me off and began to walk away. I followed a few feet behind her and mumbled,"Whatever." The little spit of attitude she threw was kinda hot. Then again I wouldn't know, I barely paid attention to girls. Most were annoying, needy, clingy, loud, etc. I rather stay alone the rest of my life.
Sighing to myself I took occasional glances up at Lenia. The way she walked, sometimes swayed, skipped around, and danced a little. She waved to little kids and made them smile. She was a ball of sunshine for someone so small. But, a ball of sunshine shouldn't have many bruises on herself..
I can see she tries to cover them up. The attempt is worth it, but doesn't work. The little smudges from the make up is removed while some show when her skirt flares up with the twirl she does. Lenia walks and twirls around as if she doesn't have any is what fascinates me. Catching up to her pace I went beside her.
"Why do you have marks and bruises on your arms and legs?" The look on her face hearing that surprised her, but she kept herself composed. Luke would probably thump my head for being nosy. Flattening her black skirt down a bit she gave a nice sigh. "Didn't your mother teach you not to be nosy Grumpy pants? Why are you even observing me?" She simply replied back as she gave my arm a little punch. Lenia tried to put a little smile, but it wasn't going to fool me.
"I have no mother nor a family besides that blonde guy who I was with. Plus I didn't think girls would walk around freely or put make up on bruises without a reason love," I explained looking down at her while we walked. We were almost close to the tea shop.
"Why were you staring though?"
Giving a little smirk I looked up to where I was walking. I'm not sure why but I wanted to mess with this girl. Not as in the sexually, but in a way where I can tease her till she gets flustered. "Maybe I liked what I saw, it's not everyday that someone annoying comes by," I simply answered as we got to the door of the tea shop. Lenia looked up at me, rolled her eyes, and pulled the door open to head in.
Heading in behind her I saw she had ran behind the counter already. Tying her apron on while she talked to a worker next to her. Next to the counter I saw a familiar mop of blonde brunette hair sitting near the counter. As I got closer I mentally moaned at who it was.
"What are you doing here Hood?"
"Just here for tea Irwin, it is a tea shop in fact" I said as calmly as I could. Irwin and I had a bit of a rough past you could say. The girl he wanted left him for the "vampire boy." Which probably was the rare few out of the hundreds that didn't like my existence. That reason was Ashton's way of not liking my presence.
"Cut the crap, I saw the way you were looking at Lenia! Don't even go near her Hood, I'll kill you!" He threatened while I lightly laughed at it.
"Do you really think you could kill me Ashton? Did you forget what I am?" I questioned as Lenia walked over, placing her hand on his shoulder. I felt a weird feeling when she did that, but eh who knows.
"Ashton I didn't know you knew Grumpy Pants!" Lenia said surprisingly as she looked back and forth at us. I didn't know whether she was being sarcastic or just adorable.
"Yeah I know Calum," he replied annoyed,"But in more important news Lei, I got your glasses!" Reaching into his pocket he took out a black case, opened it up, to reveal a pair of glasses. It looked like one of those glasses old people wear, the vintage kind that have become popular.
"Thanks Ash, I was beginning to wonder how long I was going to walk around blind," Lenia said as she unfolded the glasses and preached it on her nose. The way they looked made her look like a little nerd, another way to tease her.
"I think they make you look a little nerdy," I pointed out as I looked up on the menu to find some different type of tea. Ashton looked angry that I said that, but Lenia on the other hand had a little smile on her face. "A nerd huh?" She questioned as she went to the register," Are your tattoos meant to make you look like a badass or a douche?"
"I see what you did there, clever," I replied as I pointed to the Jasmine flower on the menu. "Thanks I try, also that'll be $3.50 for your Jasmine," she pointed out and wrote on the cup. Handing her my card, she slid it, and handed it back with a smirk.
After a few minutes and some chatting to her co worker and Ashton next to her. Lenia got finished with my tea and handed it over. It smelt amazing and was warm, just like last time.
"Is there another lame message on the other side on the cup?"
"Maybe, maybe not. Why? Are you expecting one Calum?"
I jokingly shook my head in disapproval and headed outside to wait for Luke. He can get his tea by himself, Ashton looked as though he was going to kill me with his daggering stares. Taking a sip of my tea I curiously turned the cup around to find the message:
"Here's your tea Mister 'Badass.' Nice to see your mood is better today. Calum is a cool name, haven't heard it before! Any who Enjoy!
-Lenia :)"
Next to the little written message were Jasmine flowers.
The first girl I think to mess with has a sarcastic, energetic, smart personality with bruises on her legs and arms..
Nice pick Cal, nice. Sighing to myself I go and spam Luke on my phone till he gets here.
