Luke had this habit of dragging me to places I didn't want to go to nor enjoyed. He liked to explore new places as where I rather lay around. He sometimes annoyed the fuck out of me, but he's been with me through everything. That blonde lanky guy is the closest I can consider family. Plus he was probably more better than me than what I was myself. Yes you heard right, Luke Hemmings is also a vampire. He's only a 1/4 but he brags to me on it.

"Calum can you be any slower?! I'm thirsty here!" Luke complained ahead of me. For an awkwardly lanky guy he could walk fast, and worry quiet a lot.

"You're always thirsty Luke. You'll probably take the next hot girl in there huh?" I teased as I caught up to his pace. He thumped my forehead as the response to my comment while I did the same back. No we don't suck blood for food. We can, but we chose not to.

Anyway, Luke could pull any girl he basically wanted. He was above 6 feet, blue eyes, had blonde hair, a lip piercing, and had a good personality. As to me on the other hand, I was the opposite. I was about 6 foot, brown hair, brown poop colored eyes, little lisp of an accent, tattoos, and deep collarbones. My personality ranged from how my mood was and who you were to me. I could be sarcastic and a tad bit rude. I didn't care though, I had no one to care about besides Luke.

When we finally reached the place Luke's been wanting to go to. I thought of how lame this guy is as usual. We ended up at a Tea shop. Out of all the places we could of gone to, he wanted to go here.

"You know if you wanted tea we could of went to Starbucks or something." I pointed out as I followed him inside. The inside of the shop had a nice little vibe. Shelves of books on the wall, dimmed lightning, free wifi (cause who can live without it), tall/short tables, bean bag chairs, etc. It was like a little hangout place for college of high school groups.

"I'm going to get some green tea, how about you Cal?" Looking at Luke, I shrugged my shoulders. I wasn't a big fan of tea, but I knew Luke would order me something I wouldn't like if I didn't chose. "I don't know, get me Jasmine," I replied as I felt something push against me. Looking down I saw a girl in an apron, light brown hair, glasses, and a white smile.

"I'm sorry for running into you! I didn't let you spill anything right?!" She asked frantically as she examined if she did. I shook my head in annoyance. Luke brings me here so he can get some stupid tea and this girl runs into me. "No you didn't," I replied as I took a step away," You're lucky you didn't or I would be really pissed off." She glanced back at me with a confused look as she showed an annoyed face. "Whatever," she replied as she went to the counter.

"Hey I'm sorry about him. He could be such a grouch sometimes. Right Calum!?" Luke called from the counter while I walked over. "Shut up and get your dumb tea," I replied harshly as I took my phone out. Luke laughed lightly as the girl said some comment to him. They both chatted for a bit as she was making his drink. I took occasional glances and listened. She was short, shorter than the average girls we see. She had a nice rack for how petite she was. She was easily amused, sarcastic, and her facial expressions changed a lot. Her name tag read the name of Lenia.

"Thank you Lenia! I'll come by sometime, maybe text you." Luke called out as we headed for the door. He sent a little wink that would of sent any girl drooling. But Lenia on the other hand, chuckled and pretend to swat it away kiddingly. Sipping my tea slowly I found it surprisingly good. The scent was nice and the taste wasn't strong or too sweet.

"I saw you take glances Cal. You find her interesting don't you?" Luke asked with a smirk on his face. What are you blabbering about Lu?" I asked as I continued to sip my tea. "The girl, Lenia. You were kind of mean to her, but the way you looked told other wise," he replied as he took his phone out of his pocket. To whom he'd most likely text his mother, Momma Hemmings.

"Yeah yeah whatever you say Luke." I mumbled as I took another sip. She was interesting yeah, but that doesn't mean anything.

You're a freak Calum. That's all you'll ever be!

You aren't normal nor will you ever be!

Get out of here with your monster ass!

People like you don't deserve to live! You're a threat to society!

A freak of nature!

Pushing through the crowd I tried to find my way out. They were all crowding me, with their insults and hits and throws. The way they showed no emotion or feeling to a kid with no knowledge of what he is either. When I got out of the crowd another one formed. Thrashing at me with all the hatred they could throw out as I yelled in pain.

"CALUM! CALUM WAKE UP! HEY! BUDDY! WAKE WAKE!" I heard a deep voice yell at me. Opening my eyes wide open as I thrashed my arms, I saw Luke. A worried Luke in my dark normal bedroom. The moon's light was shining through the window in the corner. The clock on my nightstand read 2:35am while I noticed the things I knocked down while thrashing.

"Lu-Luke.." I stuttered quietly, the sweat on my head slowly dripping. I haven't had a nightmare in awhile, the fact I did probably surprised the both of us. "Yeah Cal it's me," he replied as he continued to search my face for any trace of nervousness or worry. Me and Luke could read body language. Well, whenever we felt like it that is. He does it to me often since I lie about my feelings.

"Hey uhm can you give me some air man... Or uhm water..?" I asked looking up at him. I needed some air and to tell myself to stop being a little pussy. "Alright man, I'll be back quick." A little pat on my arm and a little smile, Luke was gone.

Taking a deep breath I looked around my room. I knocked down my phone, some papers, a mug, the cup from the tea shop, etc. The closet to my side of the bed was the tea shop cup. Slowly getting off the bed I began to do a little stretch. Walking over to where the cup was, I picked it up. Tossed it a few times in my hands as I picked up the other things I knocked. After a few minutes I set everything back in place. I wandered over to the trash bin to toss the cup away when I noticed some writing on one side of it:

Enjoy the Jasmine tea grumpy pants. Lighten up a bit! Come by for tea anytime, I'm here (Even with your crappy attitude).

-Lenia :)

Reading the little message I found it stupid, yet lamely cute. Walking back to bed I got in slowly. Luke came in with the water, set it on the nightstand, and gave me a quick nod. I gave him one back as I put the cup on the nightstand also. Wiping my forehead with the blanket I laid back down, and headed to sleep.
