"Ash, you know you really don't have to come with me."

"Well I'm going! This guy could be a pyscho and kidnap my best friend! Plus he's friends with Calum, he could be the same."

Today was the day I was going to hang out with Luke. The blonde lanky flirt from the tea shop the other day who came with Calum. I ended up finding that Grumpy Pants name was Calum Hood, which was kind of original to me. He's a sarcastic, little nosy, and teasingful guy. Well from what I've experienced from him so far, Ashton on the other hand thinks differently. He explained that Calum was "dangerous" to be near or know in general. That he wasn't normal and how trouble followed him wherever he went. By having Luke with him, Ashton thinks they're double the "danger."

Walking into the park I continued to tune in and out to Ashton's story about the creepy guy at his work. Apparently he's blunt, sarcastic, mysterious, and funny. He's new to town and probably one of those jerky people Ash hates to be around. As he continued to complain about the "creep" I spotted blonde locks in a quiff sitting in a bench near by a tree. Walking up quietly I snuck up behind him, and poked the side of his head.

"Nice to see you too Lenia," Luke said as he turned around with a nice smile. I noticed he was dressed in a grey baseball tee with black sleeves, black jeans, and yes black converses. "Do you always wear black Luke?" I asked as Ashton caught up to me and gave him a look. I smacked his arm as a way of telling him that was rude.

"Not all the time, I change from the different shades of black and grey. Then occasionally I'll have a random bright color," he explained as he put his phone away. He looked up at Ashton and gave him a warm smile. "You must be Ashton, I'm Luke. Luke Hemmings."

Looking questionable at him, Ashton flashed a warm uncomfortable smile back. "So you're Calum friend?"

"More like best friend/brother. He told me about you yesterday a bit. Why?"

"Is he still out killing people?"

My eyes grew wide at Ashton's question as I punched his arm. "ASHTON! You can't just ask that question! Nor can you assume that about people!" I said shocked as he rubbed his arm from my punch. I was going to ask him why till Luke's stifled laugh interrupted. "What's so funny Luke?"

"Well the fact that you think that, and the fact that you asked. I'm assuming you know a bit about Calum, or least think you do," he explained looking up at Ashton with a raised eyebrow. Which got me curious... What has Calum done for whatever Ashton was assuming? How did Ashton know about Calum?

"Calum is mostly different than people make him out to be. If you got to know him then you'd know that. He's not as bad as you all think. Well besides Lenia, you love most likely don't know him at all," he explained more as Ashton took his words in. Ashton must of took the words to heart by the frustrated look on his face.

"Alright. Lei, I have something to get to at work. I'll text you later alright? Be safe," he said as he turned on his heel and went off. It was normal for Ash to react this way, well least to me. Sighing and shaking my head in disapproval I looked at the sky.

"I didn't hurt his feelings right?" Luke asked worried,"I just don't like when people talk of Calum in a bad way."

"No no it's okay! You just probably changed his perspective in a way," I explained from remembering the numerous times this has happened to me,"I would do the same as you if someone said that about Ashton."

Giving me a small smile I could see Luke understood. Walking up to the bench and plopping down next to him we looked up at the sky together. For someone who was nice, funny, and flirty it made me wonder why he was with Calum. The guy was such a rude grumpy pants that it didn't match up.

"Hey Luke, are you and Calum dating?"

Looking at me with wide eyes, the blonde bursts into a fit of laughter. "SERIOUSLY LENIA?!?" He yelled while laughing out of air.

"Well it doesn't match up how you two are together!" I said as my cheeks turned red from the embarrassment of my question...

"Let's just say that we've been together forever. I'm the only family he's got to be honest. He can be a stubborn rude prick sometimes, but I don't mind really. What he's been through kind of makes him like that," Luke explained as he took his phone out. His lockscreen was him and Calum making weird faces. "Let's take pictures Lei!"

Looking at home strangely I took up on his offer as we took about 20 random photos. Deleting and agreeing to some, Luke then sent it to Calum as a way to show him he missed out.

When it was time to part since I had my shift at the Tea Shop. Me and Luke said our byes and that he'd maybe stop by later. Turning around I headed out to the park as I fixed my sweater. Pulling out my phone I was going to text Ashton that everything went well when I saw another text at the top.

Luke: He'll tell you what he's been through one day. You interest him a bit, it's rare x

Took a little bit on this chapter but I guess you can say it's a little filler. The next two will be a bit more important and intense so remember that! Comment and vote as usual if you'd like and later ~
