Every time I've passed out from one of the alcoholics rage fest. I usually wake up in the basement since I'm the "reckless" one in this household. So when I woke up in a different living room with Chipotle sitting on the table across from me. Best believe that I was blessed that the person I ran into helped me.

Pain and soreness spread throughout my body as I tried to sit up. From the adrenaline I had yesterday made me forget about it. I glanced around the living room that also had the kitchen attached. The whole space seemed to be furnished nicely and gives a comfy feel. It was simple, yet modern.

Pushing the blanket aside I glanced down to see I was in a black v-neck shirt. There were some bandaids on my arms and legs. Some that were slightly bled through already. Gathering up some energy I tried to get up with the help of the arm of the couch. That was until I felt a sharp pain on my side.

"Fuck," I groaned as the pain shot through. Why does everything burn way more than it has before, I thought as I expected the table to take my fall. But instead I felt a breeze and a gentle touch against me.

"I think that you'd be smarter Lenia."

I held my breath as I recognized the deep voice and looked up. The brown eyes that usually looked at me with an annoyed stare, had a worried stare. He was dressed in a dark grey tank top, black skinny jeans, and vanz. He smelt of pine trees and a light vanilla.

"I-I.. The u-u-uhm sh-," I stuttered as he fixed the bottom of the v-neck I wore. I was confused as to why he was here as he walked over to the kitchen area. He pulled out a cup from the cupboard and went to the fridge for water. Before I could finish my sentence, a voice I was happy to hear came in.

"Lenia! You're up! Well slightly," Luke said as he walked over to me with a box in his hand, "How do you feel Len?"

"Luke!" I said happily, "I'm okay. Just woke up and some of the bandaids bled through.." I looked up at him as he took my hand to look at the ones at my left arm. I was happy to see one face that actually liked me.

"Hm, they have. But don't worry I got you love," he replied as he motioned me to sit down. The box he had revealed some bandaids and other first aid things. "I didn't put your bandages all over your body at first. If it makes you less tense right now, my friend Violet patched and dressed you."

I nodded in response as he took my arm, gently took off the old bandages, and replaced them with new ones. He smiled at me as he got up and walked to the kitchen where Calum stood, staring and annoyed. Unlike him, Luke dressed in at least some different color along with black.

"Thank you for saving me," I said softly as I looked fiddled with my fingers. I didn't know how to act here. I know Luke is nice and all, but Calum is a whole different story.

"Shouldn't thank me Len. You should thank Cal over there. You ran into him, I arrived a few minutes later," Luke replied as I felt the couch dip beside me. He set a glass of water down as he carefully removed the lid of the chipotle bowl. The scent of chicken filled the air as my mouth watered. I saw the light cheese, cool sour cream, zesty guacamole, fresh lettuce, corn, and tomatoes.

"Eat up Short Stuff. I didn't wait 10 minutes in line for that for nothing," Calum stated as he took a seat on the single couch next to us. He propped his feet up on the table and began to flip through channels on the tv. "Also, don't get any of that on my shirt alright?"

I nodded and began to pick at the food as I let my mind wonder a bit. I could wrap my head around the fact that Calum had actually saved me. He also bought me food and let me wear his clothes.. Looking over I saw him and Luke talk while they laughed. It was nice to hear him laugh other than sigh in annoyance.

"Well guys I got somewhere to go," Luke said as he got up from the couch," I have someone to meet up with tonight. I'll try be bringing food back later, and please. Don't bicker yourselves to death."

"Thanks again for patching me up Luke," I replied with a small smile. He yelled thank you as he rushed out the door. I tried to get comfortable on the couch again, but the pain was too much. The blanket I was using fell to the ground as I groaned in annoyance. Before I could pick it up, I was getting lifted up.

"If you really think you're going to be sleeping on this couch tonight. You have another thing coming," Calum simply explained as he carried me bridal style. His touch gave me little electric feels and butterflies in my stomach.

"It's okay really Cal-"

"You're sleeping in my bed so I have a better eye on you and that's the end of this right now," he quickly replied as he walked away from the living room and down the hall. I just nodded in response as I laid against his chest. I didn't want to upset him in anyway, especially with Luke not here. I can't do anything right now with how banged up I am.

Reaching the end of the hall, his foot gently pushed against a door to reveal his room. It was simply just a bed, nightstand, dresser, and his laptop which was as always. Black. There was one door to a closet and the slightly opened one was the bathroom. It had the scent of pine trees and light vanilla just like him. Walking over to the right side of the bed, Calum carefully set me down. Shoving his hand in his pocket, he tossed my phone in my lap.

"Irwin literally spammed your phone for an hour. Luke called him and told him you're alright. He'll be calling tomorrow," he explained as he took a seat next to me. I just looked down at my phone as he spoke. I was lowkey scared to make eye contact.

"What? No sarcastic comment back? You're very quiet this evening Lenia?"

"I'm just confused at why you'd helped me," I simply replied while he just sighed.

"Just because I tease you a lot doesn't mean I can't help you. Plus the condition you were in was horrible," he explained as he shifted the bed slightly, "The way you looked reminded of someone I once knew. I couldn't leave you there to fend for yourself."

I listened to everything he said and felt touched yet curious. He's not all that bad, and this was probably what Luke meant about Calum telling me things. Before I could respond he quickly got off the bed and headed towards the door. My lame attempt to grab him failed but the words already slipped.

"Thank you Calum, for saving me..."

"Welcome," he replied as he looked over at me," Get some rest." I gave him a small smile as he turned to head out and shut the door.
