Chapter 32

Amarie: 

I decided that keeping Trey as a probation officer just wasn’t the best idea, let alone having a man as one, so I decided to transfer to another one. I got assigned a women named Mrs. Clark. Of course Trey wasn’t happy about this decision but I couldn’t fuck with him anymore and risk the chance of getting locked up because he wanted to pull something. Of course he still could but if I was around him and he was my probation officer, it was a slim chance that he could and I rather take that.

Trey:

I was heated. Amarie wasn’t the girl who I thought she was. She was just a low life hoodrat with no meaning to her life. She was laying up with that thug who probably always cheated on her and just used her for sex and comfort. I thought I could change her life around and make her into the woman I knew she could be. But I was wrong, she had no potential and I was devastated. When that “thug” came walking down the stairs, I felt like my heart was being ripped out. I don’t know why I cared so much for this girl but I did. I wanted her to be mines, but a change of heart instantly changed when he came down those stairs.

I resented her. I wanted her to feel the pain that I felt. I don’t know why this girl was so important to me but she was and I couldn’t help it. Spending weeks with her, I become attached and lured in. Even though she didn’t open up much, I was willing to try. I did everything from lying on her drug test, not writing down she was late everyday, and even when she didn’t show up at times. I regret it all because I got betrayed.

I was going to catch her doing something so that she could suffer. I was in pain and no matter how much I tried to put it to the side, I just wasn’t able too. If I could get her away from that thug and make her learn, I would. I knew she smoked and if she smoked she did have a possibility of selling. I looked through her profile and I had so much classified information. I made sure that I made extra copies that I could have to my own. I knew her background in and out. Her criminal backgrounds, what orphanages she lived in, and even how her parents died. I would find some way to figure out how to put her in her place. Maybe it would teach her a thing or two.

Chris:

“I’m not gonna be the one to mess this up, cus I don left up love before. Imma be the one to take a back seat girl. We can take our time and you can run thiss …..” I sang into the microphone. I was recording a song for Mari and I planned on singing for her soon. I really wanted to do something special for her so I felt like this would be as special as it could get for now. I was planning on doing an acoustic session and letting her in on it. Probably sing some songs to her and show her what she has been missing out on. No one knew I could sing, only my boys so I would probably shock Mel too. Ty was playing on doing a little freestyle for her, which I knew she would be thrilled about.

“Alright boys, let’s rap this up.” Mijo said through the intercom. I nodded and rested my headphones on my shoulders. “Good work, seriously.” He added. I walked out the booth and headed towards the crew.

“So when are you planning on singing for Mari?” Sean asked me.

“Probably tonight if she is free. I’ll probably have ya’ll come to my place, and I’ll ask my boy to bring his guitar and play something so I can do an acoustic session for her. It’s be a surprise.” I said laughing on the word surprise. It would probably be more than a surprise. I know she is going to be shocked.

We headed back to my place to set this session up. We was all in my living room and I Ty had called Mel and Mari to come through and they said that they would be here soon. I just sat on the floor nervously. I didn’t know what to expect, how she would react. Would she be mad that I kept this away from her or would she be excited to learn something new about me. This would be my first time singing to a girl since high school so my nerves were off the wall. I just hoped all went well.
