Shadow's P.O.V

I was hidden in the Shadows, how ironic. Fire was in a clearing with the mudd monster and another giant monster that looked just as bad but was ice. Fire and Ice, yah they would be powerful together.

Fire motioned me forward, and I approached, carefully. The mudd monster looked at me, as did the ice, but they both bowed their heads. “My'Lord” they said in unison.

I was never going to get used to that one. But, at least it would help to have them two on our side when we begain our plan.

Our plan? Well I am not explaining that, I just know Heather and Heli will be with us when it goes down, the wild one can either play along and listen, or she may find Fire is more then a one whip trick kinda guy, I smirked at the thought, Fire was growing powerful already. This was our first task we was going to under take, and then, we would be known that we can not be taken down.

Not like anyone could take us down anyway, it was a near impossible task, well not near impossible it was impossible, at least for everyone but two twin girls. The said twinies, had no clue of this, and they of course, was to busy fighting with each other, pathetic really.

Fire marked the new beast, as it agreed to serve him and assist in the pending task we was going to do. He proceeded to tell the plan, I ignored him, mainly do to the fact I was already certain I knew it inside and out. Instead I thought of how best to contain our twin terrors when this plan took place. I could think of a number of ways to bind them, and leave them at the castle while we was gone, squirming worms then. Or, I 'could' revoke the connection with Heli, and force her to be on our side, that would certainly confuse Heather as she didn't know about it, yet.

Or... “Shadow?!” Came Fire's voice, I jerked my head up staring at him he shook his head slightly and mouthed 'snap out of it', and said with authority, “We leave within the hour, the beasts will meet us at the relay point, we will retrieve the twins.”

I nodded to him, he grinned evilly and took off, I ran after him. I was looking forward to this.

Fire and I broke away from each other as we jumped onto the bridge that opened for us and shut tightly behind us. Him heading to his room, me to the basement, where my little wolf girl slept. I could get used to her wolf form, it made her look innocent as she was a wolf pup not a full grown wolf there. How adorable.

Heli was sitting on top of the blanket her arms wrapped around her knee's her head resting on it, I could tell she was tense, but she calmed when she looked up and saw me.

I guess I had that effect on her now, good she should fear me, yet be calm at the same time.

“Wha..what now?” she asked me, her eyes looked sad, I hardened my expression, “We're, going somewhere.” I said.

She nodded, and slowly stood up.

I opened her cell she walked out and stood awkwardly by me, twitching a bit nervously, I wasn't sure I wanted her in this form there, she looked weak. I thought about it a moment eyes on her twitching fingers. “Shadow?” she whispered after a moment.

“Yes?” I found myself saying.

“What happened? I don't remember anything after, the courtyard?” she whispered, nervously shifting again, she looked pale and scared.

I raised a brow, so she don't remember what happens when I call on the connection? “You dont remember anything?” I asked a bit shocked.

She shook her head no, very slowly. “Good.” I said and then I straightened up and summoned the dark magic, watching her eyes turn dark black, “come with me little pup”

As if reading my mind, she shifted into her wolf-pup form and walked right by my side, oh that was better. No fussing, No arguing, No griping, No crying, just listening.

She trotted like a happy pup, jumping besides me, I sighed, I wished Heli really was like this all the time.

I turned upstairs, and saw Fire, He was yanking Heather by the arm she had tears in her eyes, but she was dressed beautifully. She was in a slim tight fitting, black dress, with a low cut.

Her eyes met mine, briefly but she looked away, I knew then she wasn't really happy but that's ok. I didn't have to worry about her right now.

I whispered, “lets do this.” and I ran out the castle the wolf pup following me closly on my heels, what a good girl.

Fire was running fast after me, in his arms was Heather.

We slowed down as we approached the relay point, Fire put down Heather, and we stood staring forward at the point where the two beasts stood, beyond, was a little village. It was peaceful right now, but that wouldn't last.

“I'll take the right side, you and Heli grab the left,” said Fire. I nodded my head. Heather looked nervous, as Fire dragged her along, she shivered a she saw the mudd monster.

I smiled down to my wolf pup and scratched her behind the ears, “We are going to have a little fun my girl”

Fire's powers swirled around him, I saw him light the village a flame screaming people ran every where. I used my magic and casted a dark cloud over it, and fog, preventing the fleeing ones from going far.

A young girl caught my attention, she had smooth silky chocolate hair. Her eyes was lite up due to the flames around her and she had wings on her back, it was clear she was a fairy. She, moved tword the shadows and was trying find her way out, I scratched Heli behind her ears and whispered into her tiny wolf ear, “bring me the fairy.”

She was off before the command left my lips, obedient little pup.

Heather's P.O.V

Fucking Fire, no, I mean literally fire! I shaded my eyes, and Fire whispered into my ears, “Be a good girl and help coral them villagers to the center. He pushed me away and raised a hand the flames getting higher, I paled a bit, what? Help? No freaken way, I knew he didn't really expect me to help. I saw a wolf pup come down into the village and squinted, no way was Heli helping them now?

Oh crap, crap crap. She must really hate me if she is helping them.

Oh well, I can at least, do something so I grabbed a water and tossed it on Fire he looked not impressed and knocked me down, “Fine, I'll deal with you later.”

I frowned, I wasn't liking the sounds of this.

The village was a wreak, before my eyes I witnessed all the villagers screaming for mercy, and, saw one villager tossed right next to me, they quivered and didn't move, curling in a ball.

The wolfie ran pass dragging a girl that seemed be trying bat the wolf, “let go puppy!” she was saying. She actually looked friendly, oh god what was they doing?

I couldn't figure it out, I sniffled again, and turned looking tword Fire. “Last chance to help Heather, or will find yourself back in the basement.”

I tensed and then did what I thought he would like, anything to avoid that pain again, I dunked inside and started telling people the wrong way to go getting them all farther in the fire.. when I was done I flopped down by Fire's feet, starring ahead, but not seeming to see anything, he chuckled, “Better, see, that wasn't so hard. And I didn't even have to whip you.”

I tensed.

Argh.
