Chapter Seventeen

Heather's P.O.V

I looked up at Fire, as he watched the village burn, I felt so guilty. I can not barley bielive my eyes, how could he do this. I can't figure out why this man was being so evil. I mean, I know we live in the dark, but he was turning people to purly fear him, and with great fear, comes an even greater target. I looked to the one shivering before Fire.

“You will go spread the word, that no one shall mess with the Mentor.” He said, in a cold voice. The man bowed and dodge off running at full speed. He was freakishly fast as he was panicked and scared? I would be too. In fact, I would leave if I could, but I was kidnaped, and I was being watched so carefully. Not to mention, he was going to hurt me if I ran off again, I gulped my eyes still on him as he yanked me up off the ground, pushing me ahead of him twords where Shadow and wolfie sat. I frowned, I guess she and the girl by him was the only ones I could trust to help fix this situation.

Maybe, just maybe, we could get out of here together? I mean they had to be as misserable as me, right? I barley moved as Shadow picked the Fairy up, she had tears in her eyes, he gripped her small wrist, and whispered “Whats your name Fairy.”

She staggered, I frowned, and the Wolfie just sat there starring up like a stupid little mutt.

Fuck you Heli.

“H...Hope..” She stuttered out.

Shadow smirked evily, and whispered, “Well there is no Hope in this village is there.”

She shook her head trying to agree and not get on his bad side, apparently still scared she mite go up in flames with the rest, oh shit, some them must have been her family, she looked no older then us, if not, younger?

Shadow examined her arm, finding the fine delicate lines of the dark symbol. He, however was unphased. It wasn't unheard of for slaves, or captured girls, to be from other areas, in fact if a man was able to claim one the normal girls none neutral, he was praised greatly. It was so hard.

I started at him, he delicately traced her arm, leaving his mark there next to her dark emblem, and then with a glide of his finger over her neck, the delicate black collar matching Heli's, appeared.

Out of curiosity I looked to the wolf, on her neck still was the dark collar, odd creature. And I thought that was my sister? No freakishly weird way.

Fire tugged me along, well I remained his only girl at least, I could do this, I just had to get over the fear I was feeling and maybe get Hope on my side. I so needed a girlfriend to talk to, he yanked me away heading back to the castle.

Shadow's P.O.V

I starred long and hard at the fairy who was now shaking like a leaf, after the collar had been added and the mark. “Where are your family.” I asked out of curiosity.

She tensed, and then looked down, I shook her a few times, “Tell me girl!”

She balled a fist and punched me hard, and took off running.

My wolf pup ran right after her chasing at her heels, I let them sort it out, sitting back and enjoying Hope's hopeless attempt. My wolfie caught her and dragged her back to me, kicking and screaming, tears still in her eyes.

My wolf sat back by me, panting, and staring at the girl, who shifted again, and said “Just leave me be, I don't have anything you want we are just a simple village here... and... “ she stopped her eyes looking back at her home.

I grabbed her long hair and turned her back facing me, and forcing her eyes to look at me, “Which building is home” I asked.

She shook and tried pull away smacking at me, but I smacked her with my free hand and she froze, clearly not expecting that. “Tell me Hope, I won't ask again”

She slowly nodded to a small house off to the right of the village, it was alive in flames. I eyeballed it scanning to see if any life was left. I pushed her aside and moved to the village. Telling wolfie as I was calling her to stay with the brat.

I walked to the house, and waved a hand, the flames froze in place, stopping in time. I glanced inside, seeing a few burning bodies, and nobody else. I shrugged, and moved away letting the flame restart. Hope looked at me as I returned, “it would appear your family is gone, isn't that nice, now you can come and stay with me.” I yanked her up she then swung at me again, she was now in shock and I found myself just restraining her arms. She couldn't do anything but cry, as I carried her off, wolf pup at our heels heading home.

Her new home to, if she accepted it, if not, well it would be her prison.

The bridge lowered and I jumped inside, wolfie still at my heels, the bridge closed behind us, and we ran inside, down the stairs and to the basment, I saw Fire had left Heather in one of the cells, and she was curled on her side, he had created another cell, it now had three, I smiled and told wolfie to get in one locking her in, and then turned to the one next to it after closing the connection to the wolf who shifted back to Heli who laid there on the ground, naked as the day she was born.

I shoved Hope in the last cell, locking the door she flopped to the ground sobbing into her legs.

I then tossed in some clothes to my girl, and left. She could dress herself, when she snapped out of it.

Heli's P.O.V

I rubbed my eyes, nervously, huh? Glancing down, I saw what I had hoped was a dream, oh my god.. my ankle was better I practically danced on it, but, at the same time I saw I was well naked. Oh god, what had we done while I blacked out this time? What was going on. I frowned and quickly put on the tight black shirt and skinny jeans. Argh. Really? Why am I always waking up forgetting what has happened. I wish Shadow would just tell me.

Or are we getting freaky when I'm out? How lame, I would love to remember what happened, at least let a girl enjoy it. God, was I still a virgin? I paled, and then turned bright red pacing around the cell.

I heard a soft crying, and glanced to my left then right. Well this was awkward.

“Um, hello?” I said slowly glancing to the one to my right, she was sitting her back against the bars sobbing her eyes out, and was clearly not paying attention to me.

I heard a snotty huff, and turned, great, Heather was here to. I closed my eyes. And my hellish day begins. I knew it was going to be a bad one when heard crying and saw myself nude, I just was hoping it wasn't gonna be to bad. But, Heather here? Meant was going to be awful. I closed my eyes and flopped down on the cot, oh god. Great.
