Chapter Three Part Two

Heli's P.O.V

“No” Shadow said in a flat tone that's when I realized who it was, and tensed. Don't let him hit me again I thought. I looked up just in time to see Shadows eyes harden as he stood turning on the man.

“Fire, what did you do to Heli, why is she saying to not let you hit her”

Huh? Wait, I said that in my head not out loud, oh crap, he can hear my thoughts this is not going be good. I could just hear his as well, I was reaching that conclusion, as I was hearing his voice when I was having no way of hearing him. Fire? So that’s his name, I looked around Shadow at him, staying behind Shadow as he speaks, he defently looked like a Fire, with them red eyes, and the flaming red hair. I couldn't quiet figure out why but he scared me more now, I winced and stayed behind Shadow, listening to the two.

Shadow's P.O.V

I folded my arms over my chest, hiding the new found strange marking from Fire's inquiring eyes, I could tell he saw it before I had a chance to tuck my arm away but he was not speaking about it yet, that's good because I did not want to speak to him about this as I was quiet mad at him right about now. “Well? Answer me” I hissed out at my so called friend, and brother, why would he hurt the girl he knew I loved?

He stubbornly folded his arms mimicing me, and glared flamy daggers at me, “She is a bitch of a girl, and was getting on my nerves, with that little miss innocent act plus she was being downright rude,. You and I both know how well I take a female being rude to me,” he said with a roll of his eyes, “Did she fucking hurt you bro? If she did I sware I'll kill her.”

That set my nerves over the edge and I balled a fist black sparks of dark magic floating around them, as I got more angry then I had ever been before, no one would threaten her life, as it would by therory of what the fairy said, threaten my life. I was not having that. Fire held his hands up,

“sorry bro, I know what she means to you, but you need to calm down.”

I was about to do something I would regret when I heard her voice from behind me as she tugged my arm and whispered, “y..your.. your scarying me Shadow, stop it.”

I felt my mood shift as I tried to calm down, this girl was saving him yet he would kill her, and thats when I just lost it and grabed my arm from Heli knocking her out the way and moved lightenin fast to Fire holding him pinned against the wall in both my now dark and glowing hands.

Heli's P.O.V

The shove hurt more then the fact Fire had just threatened my life, I flopped down hearing a pop of my ankle from under me, biting down hard on my lower lip tasting just a drop of blood. I closed my eyes, this has got to go down in history as being the worse day of my life, not only was I kidnapped but I was marked, and now I had a broken ankle? When was it going to end.

Shadow and Fire was in a heated argument and I saw Shadow let go of Fire, but that didn't stop them from yelling at each other. I took this time to slowly make my way across the room and out the door into the next, I mind as well have some time to process all this new information, not to mention think. I could put two sentences together, I was in such a panick state of mind, I was still freaking out badly.

I tuged myself along till I saw what looked lik a balcony, reaching up I tugged myself up to an standing pose hobbling around on one foot and opened the door hopping along till I reached an dark corner, and flopped down not caring I rest my head on the dark ground my eyes staring up at the midnight coloured sky.

I know its beautiful, but it was just the dark lands, I was hoping after the Trials of Ages, I would end in at least the neutrals. I guess that was just the life of a servant and then could land in either area, dark or light, working on serving them. But, I had a feeling the trial mattered not to me now.

 I was gonna remain in the dark lands with Shadow, it was so daunting. I closed my eyes shaking my head a few tears trickling down my face from the pain and the severity of the situation.

“Heli...” I heard his voice and just rolled on my side, groaning a bit. I could feel his pressence, and a moment later his hand running down my back, he whispered, “I thought you would have left...”

Even with the light touches to my skin I felt the tingling sensations. I shake my head, very slowly then roll again till Im on all fours and push myself up putting my fists up and staring at him with my eyes narrowing into small daggers,

“Okay, if we going to do this we need some rules.. I am not going to be held against my will regardless of this.. this... “ I stutter over my tounge, geeze I sounded like a spoild brat, “issue” I finish lamely,

And blush a deep red, thats when I notice his eyes had seemed to gleam a bit and he was holding back a.. laugh? I am totally annoyed.

I heard the slight chuckle as he started, “Well how about you sit down and put your fists down, you and I both know that if I hurt you hurt, so I guess.. punching me is out of the question. I don't really like pain, expectancy the pain in your ankle, yes I noticed.” he grinned at me.

I felt annoyed, damn straight I don't like pain either, what was he even applying?

Slowly, I sat down, figuring we mind as well get this over with, slowly I started.

“Look, I don't know what exactly all this means and frankly I don't care.” I looked to him watching his features harden a moment then tense his lips forming a line, “I know you have feelings for me but I have tried my hardest to move on and..”

I nervously run my hand through my hair, shaking a head slowly I finished quickly, “I just want to forget about this till after the Trials, we have all the time in the world after to figure it out. “

“Fine, go home” is all I heard him say but I could hear he was sad, and angry? Wait what? I can go? I looked up and he had already turned, and walked off, he looked way to stiff like he had a bat up his ass, or something. I arched a brow, what about Fire?

I shrugged, I was kidnapped, they can't expect me to stay, but I was feeling something for Shadow, he was despite all his faults, a good vampire. I was so.. torn.. I bite my lower lip and stood up wraping my arms around myself and turning away from him. I could not bare to see him walk off like that, it hurt, I felt like I was tearing to peices as he moved away, and my ankle was in such pain, I almost yelped as moved but, I manged to just limp my way away. I guess it was a matter of finding where I have to go and hoping no one else saw me like this.
