Chapter Six

Heli's P.O.V

When Shadow had left with Fire, I completely lost my mind and tossed a few of the pillows the rest of them actually at Fire who kept catching and tossing them down. I then flopped back down on the bed.

“My life is over.” I stated bluntly closing my eyes. I heard a chuckle and felt the bed dip a bit, I quickly peeked threw one eye, Fire was over me I tensed.

He did this half smirk, half laugh, and tickled my sides I squirmed and rolled away trying get my gimp leg to work, “no fair!” I laughed out, trying get out a range.

“What are you two doing?”

I froze.

Shadow? Wait what? Why is he back so soon, I looked guilty back at Shadow he had his hands folded over his chest this dark look in his eyes, Fire straightens up, and stood up shrugging, “She was being a drama queen I was tickling it out of her.”

I had no idea, what they was doing, Shadow and Fire just starred at each other and then broke out laughing, I couldn't help it I laughed with them, flopping back down Shadow sitting next to me, as an really sad looking Heather comes back in, Fire jumps her and tickles her trying get her to laugh to she squirms, and seems to twitch out the way but laughs as well really not of her own will.

Fire stopped and sat down, Heather took a seat to, far away from us.

“So I got a letter from the school.” Said Fire casually like we are all friends, I guess we kinda have to be now? I sigh.

“The Trials got moved, its tomorrow.”

The tension in the room at that moment, was horrible. I felt sick, I dodged out the room, hobbling to the bathroom an nervous looking Shadow followed me. He did hold my hair as I got sick.

“Uhhh...” I utter.. and smack away Shadow's hand, I shakenly got up and rinsed my mouth out, and hobbled a bit almost flopping down again, Shadow did catch me, but, I didn't really want to be in his arms either but I let him help me back to the room.

“Uh, everything okay?” came a nervous and annoyed sounding Heather's voice, I nodded and Shadow let go after I sat back down.

“okay, we have to figure out how this is going to go then, I don't want the girls running off when the Trials happen.” chimed in a Fire.

I glanced to Shadow.

He stared at me.

And we both knew, I wouldn't be able to be without him. He nodded, and then turned staring at Fire. “Heli will come back, I have a feeling she wouldn't want to disappoint me.”

I twitched, this spell was causing me to do weird things, but he was right, I was finding it harder to be away from him and even worse when saw him with Heather.

Fire had just nodded, “Ill watch the other twin, she seems a handful.”

Shadow nodded.

Heather frowned.

It was decided, Fire, would be watching her, I let out a sigh of releif, at least I wouldn't have to worry about my oh so lovely sister, trying to steal Shadow. Wait what? Steal? I thought I hated him, I gulped, argh, I was losing it.

Heather's P.O.V

Frankly after the exchange of the whole, 'Fire will be watching me', I got pissed off. Sure both the vampires were very fine looking, and I wouldn't mind being trapped with them. But, I was feeling a stronger liking for Shadow, even though it was quiet clear Heli and him had a 'thing' going on. Argh, she gets her way again, fucking princess!

I glared at Heli while they continued talking, this was so not going to work.

If I couldn't leave, I was not going to watch Heli get her way here to like a fucking perfect twirp. Yes I said twirp! Okay, horrible comeback but, it was all I could think of saying in my head at the moment. Heli hated Shadow, far as I knew, and now here she was being all goo goo eyes to him. Didn't she have a boyfriend? Can you say, slut!

I nibbled on my lower lip in thought, and turned staring out the window, the trials was tomrrow. Everything could change then. I was so lost in thought I barley noticed, the wind shift around me as someone stood by me.

“Its beautiful isn't it? We always planned to make this a castle, with magic, we can do anything.” I side-glanced at the flamey red hair by me, Fire smiled a bit his eyes staring straight out the window, I joined. What can I say, the guy has taste. At least he can appreciate a good view.

We stood, and just talked about anything and everything about the outside view to the magic he wanted to use to make it better, after what seemed hours. I whispered, “that's depending on how the trials go, we .. all may never see each other again after it.”

The tention between us after that statement was so thick it could be cut with a knife, he just, sighed and said, “I hope that don't happen.”

What does he mean? Does he actually like me? Did Heli not get him under her spell? So many questions raced threw my head I didn't notice him get closer he placed a soft kiss on my cheek and turned leaving.

I flushed. Oh my. He likes me.
