"....Mother" Tsuki Yomi took her and enveloped the little girl in her embrace.

Orochimaru watched in shock, "Tsuki Yomi... it's actually you!" He hadn't expected to see her so abruptly, or even at all!

"She's very beautiful, as expected of my daughter," Yomi said arrogantly as she looked at the beautiful child, she was very satisfied with the experiment, such a pure and beautiful creature.

"How are you alive?" Orochimaru asked with a stagnant face, his smiles were reserved for the facade he put on for his opponents. His solemn face was something she buried into her memories, she stepped forward and hugged him.

She refused to speak, she didn't want to lie today, what good would it do if he stopped trusting her?

His limp arms hesitated before wrapping around her waist, he didn’t believe she was here, not just a dream.

They stood intertwined for an undetermined period of time before the snake was the first to break the silence. "What do you plan to do?"

This was the first year that chikagakure had produced chunin candidates since the first candidates had been introduced and failed to obtain their headbands. It had been several years since then and konoha was hosting the exams one more time.

This year they brought forth a whopping 60 candidates, 60 children of various ages!

They were welcomed generously as they processed with their new hokage riding in the middle of the procession. The hokage of chikagakure arrived with the hokage from Suna, it was a grand show of trust.

Of course they were both invited to a feast thrown by the hokage of konoha at his family's house. Of course their children were also invited to the feast!

Rasa glanced at the black haired young girl who stared blankly at the teacup in her hands. She was wearing the outfit of the hokage despite the fact she was clearly still a child.

At this point Rasa wasn't surprised that Tsuki Yomi had a child, neither was he surprised that he forced her to take on the role of hokage while she went to fangirl over the akatsuki brats.

"What's your name?" He asked the silent girl who's piercing sharingan met his eyes and he couldn't help but stare in fear, unable to look away.

Her rings swirled anti clockwise before she spoke.

"Ama Terasu"

"Naruto!!" Sasuke shouted as he ran after his friend who seemed excited to go watch the procession of the candidates from chikagakure.

"Hurry up Sasuke! Sakura! Kakashi sensei doesn't have to know we didn't complete the task he left us! Besides, don't you wanna see the kamikage!?"

His excitement was bubbling over, Sasuke couldn't help but smile. "Fine!"

"Is the kamikage that amazing?" Sakura asked, unaware of what the ninja world knew about the god like figure.

"I heard from my dad that she was the most powerful Kage! She defeated the enemy ninja single handedly with her original jutsu!" Naruto rambled on about the takes he had heard as a child, he couldn't believe that he had the opportunity to see her predecessor! His face glowed as the three of them watched the procession. Sakura knew nothing of the kamikage as the history books in class had no clear descriptions as to who she was and what she was like or how she came to become the Kamikage.

"

Madara, how do I move forward?" Currently the rumored dead Kamikage sat on the large statue of the Madara that stood in front of Hashimara. She needed time to think about what to do next, was it worth trying to follow the plot? It never made sense to her why she felt the need to know everything that was going to happen.

Wouldn't it be better if she just did was she wanted to do without worrying about such trivial things like the plot? She was not the ultimate boss of this world, she couldn't overestimate her own strength.

[What do you want to do?]

"I...don't know…" At first she wanted to protect those she held dear but what's the point? They'd still all die whether or not she intervened. They were only human, there was only so much she could do for them.

At this point her existence had no meaning, should she try and leave this world?

[Why are you trying to turn your back on this world?]

"What do you mean?"

[I don't know if you've noticed but you've made a huge impact in the lives of a lot of people, so why stop now?]

"It's too stressful"

[You're really selfish all of a sudden, what happened to saving the world?]

...He was right.

She was so zealous about saving the world before, so what happened?

"Maybe I just got bored."

Bored wasn't the right word to describe how she felt, it was like she was thrust into this world and she was determined to enjoy the rollercoaster ride but now as it began to climax she suddenly realized she had lost interest.

When did this start?

She crumpled under the realization that her hero activities were all based on how interested she was in this world.

Isobu: You can't leave… you've made too much of a mess.

"Shut up."

[What?]

"Nothing."

A/N: I haven't been lazy, I've been applying for med school, I've got an interview!! And I'm hoping I get more so pray for me!
