Complicated Lies

Drew's POV

I wake up early, but stay in bed. Heaven has her head on my chest and the neck of my shirt in her hand. She's so adorable with her hair in her face. I love seeing her asleep. She's just so beautiful.

Heaven groans and opens her eyes. She looks at me and smiles.

"Good morning" I said, smiling back.

"Morning" she said drowsily.

"What do you want to do today?" I asked her.

She blinks a couple of times and then says, "I don't know."

I laugh. "Well when you figure it out, tell me."

"Why do I have to choose?" she asked.

"Because I don't know what to do either" I said, laughing.

She rolls her eyes at me and I kiss her forehead.

Heaven's POV

I get out of the shower and change into shorts and a T-shirt. I do everything I need to to be ready for the day.

When I'm done, I walk out of the bathroom to find Drew's room empty. I walk out into the hall and go to Jamie's door. I knock and wait for her.

"Yeah?" she asked while opening her door.

"Hey! Do you want to help me with something?" I asked her.

She smiles. "Sure! What is it?"

"Well I'm extremely bored and I want to liven things up" I explained.

"What did you have in mind?" she asked.

I smile and say, "How about a party?" I asked.

Her smile gets bigger and she nods her head. "What kind of party?" she asked.

"I think it should be a cool pool party" I told her.

Her face falls and she tells me, "We don't have a pool."

"I know." I smile. "But Lizzy does."

She laughs and pulls me into her room. We call Liz and ask her if we can have a party at her house. She agrees and tells us she will kick her parents out of the house for the night.

"Now we just need a list of people to invite" Jamie said.

I nod and ask, "Who do you want to invite?"

"Conner, of course, and maybe a few friends."

"Okay. Liz is going to invite a bunch of people she knows. I will invite Max andSpencer. Oh, and we should tell Kile he can come" I said.

"Did he come home last night?" Jamie asked.

"Yeah. So... Anyone else?" I asked her.

"Well do you want to invite your old friends?" she asked me.

I purse my lips and start to play with my hair. "Yeah, but it's probably not a good idea."

"Why not?"

"This party is going to be just a bunch of vampires and me. I don't want anything going wrong" I said.

Jamie sighs and pulls out her phone. She messes with it and then puts it to her ear. "Liz? Do you think it's a bad thing to invite Heaven's human friends to this party?"
